  1. You're a fool. Did you pay attention to what really happened to those people? It was as much their fault as it was the lenders. And a 'bullshit expanding rate'?! You act like the parameters of the loan term and rate are not literally SPELLED out in the paperwork you sign. If you lost your home due to an ARM...shame on you. It is NOT all the lenders fault. And if you aren't paying less than 4.00% on your 15yr rate then you're an idiot. -Marc
  2. No one? Seriously? And, if someone wants to over pay monthly towards the principal I will help them set it up via ACH payments. I did it for a closing just this morning. Don't act like you know how I operate. The people that do not have the discipline for it are the uneducated borrowers. I educate everyone of my borrowers so that I can sleep at night knowing they didnt get fucked. -Marc
  3. Ignorance is bliss. I guarantee I have an ARM program that is less than 99% of everyone on here's fixed rate...and it has NEVER gone above 5.125%. -Marc
  4. Why? You can over-pay every month with no penalty. And, it affords you the luxury of having a lower payment in-case something catastrophic happens (loss of job etc) that would keep you from being able to make the higher monthly payment. What drives me crazy are people that do not have to escrow that choose to. Lazy fuckers giving away free money! -Marc
  5. Shameless plug... If anyone is looking to refinance to a lower rate, with next to no closing costs (if you qualify) or shorten your term or pull cash out...let me know. PM or call 614-327-8085. I have helped a few people out on the board already. To answer a few questions: Yes, some lenders charge a pre-payment penalty. I do not. Some lenders will allow you to set up the bi-monthly payment...others will not. You need to call your current lender and ask. Most that I have dealt with will not as it is a hassle for their processing department and they lose money. If you have any other general mortgage questions or want me to look into your scenario, just ask. -Marc

  9. This. You will basically need to dispute the value and provide evidence. You can calculate the proper sqft, provide blue prints or building plans and submit to the county auditor. Lots and lots of people are doing this and having the value of their home decreased to save on their taxes. Keep in mind that if you plan to refinance anytime soon, this may affect your purchasing power as the home will be worth less and your LTV will increase. -Marc

    Stalkers

:bs: No one believes anyone would date you. Serious note; a friend of mine was stalked. She filed a restraining order. I don't think you need much to get one from the courthouse. From what I have been told, I would suggest filing harassment charges first. They seem to do more than a restraining order. -Marc
  11. Scott, let me know when you're in town and want to go. Ive been and it was a good time. -Marc
  12. Damnit. Let me know the next time you are making room in your watch box. -Marc
  13. Go to What on Earth at the shops on Lane. Ask for the owner, Terri Peyton, and tell her Marc Stock sent you for an engagement ring. You will not be disapointed. -Marc
  14. I gotcha. Well, it's a beautiful car sir. I wish it had a little more power but good luck with the sale. -Marc
