  1. you guys might try to leave a little earlier as the driver's meeting was at 9:45 last friday, and you know how they get picky about people missing it. ;)

Also, they black-topped over the bridge so you can finally go out at lunch without dragging the side skirts of your cars!

Just Called the track and Drivers meeting is at 9:45 AM wish I could make it, only got to Ledges twice last year. Can't make this one I have other plans for this Friday, they involve a 3 mile runway a radar gun and hopefully a lot of speed. Have fun, see ya there next time.

  2. Cheating = Trust broken, I've had this happen to me it's a no win situation. If you stay, no matter what you or she does, you will always have that in the back of your mind. If you leave you have to deal with the loss. Over the years learned to forgive a lot, but there are lines that once crossed can’t be uncrossed.

    So I say move on.

  3. qsl is the spot man. We have permission and can kick the ricers out,

Ya, I thought QSL was a Saturday gig. Plus I want to eat dinner not a midnight snack. For those that want to do a late nighter, can motor to QSL after.

I would be up for meeting out there for dinner. What time you thinking?

I'm going to be there a couple min before 8:00.

  4. Call us (Derick, Dave , Me ) at downtown for any tire needs and wellas about anything else. Nick is no longer with canal so you are better off with someone who knows you.

I need to get a set oh Kumho MX's for the Monaro give me your number and I'll call you.

I went into this without a very vital bit of info and made some uncalled for comments and assumptions. The woman conveniently forgot to mention that, in 43,000 mi of operation, she never had an oil change....ever, EVER. The Service people at Germain Nissan have in fact been very resonable and have come up with some resonably priced options and solutions. [/QB]

I hate to say this, but not the first time I've heard were someone didn't know that cars need maintance beyond filling up the gas tank. Over 40,000 miles on dino-oil must be some kinda record, I could see if it was Modile 1 or an other syntek but damn.
  6. Never been much of a Ford fan, but they do have Carol Shelby and Steve Saleen to clean up after them. I like the look of this one, just my opinion but best looking mustang in a long time. And I'm sure if Saleen built it, it will run well at the track.

Those are the most famous names in the GM lineup the last few years. And their revival names haven't really been a success, look at the Malibu and Cutlass from a few years ago. Even the Monte Carlo and Impala would be much less of a success if GM didn't control 75% of the rental car industry. And didn't they just cancel the "zeta" RWD platform cars, across the board?

I just don't see any innovation coming from GM the last few years, or for the next few either.

Wrong, the GTO is a Holden Monaro with an ugly pontiac front grill.

Outside of the down grade by pontiac the Holden Monaro is a world class, beautiful, contemporary, stylish, performance sedan.

Didnt they change to a LS2 or LS6 engine in 05?

Yes the 05 has the LS2. So far I don't know the story behind this motor yet, but I assume it's built in Canada, and shipped to Australia then shipped back to North America in the finished car like the 04's were.

Close but not exact, see above.
