  1. You rang?

You have just cause if the conditions you describe are accurate. You can do one of two things. Wait for the actual terms of the lemon law have been violated and then seek to have the car re-purchased from you. Or you can apply pressure directly to VW corporate demanding another car, without DSG. Either way is gonna involve a bit of work and a lot of emotional distress.

The second will involve less legal and paperwork wrangling, and probably be much quicker.

  2. Vacation Rule # 1:

Never leave anything in a rental car. They are easily identifiable as rentals and a huge target for thieves. Even if you leave nothing in sight, odds are better than most that there is something of value in it.

I'm sorry for your loss and hope you vacation is in some way salvagable.

    Any questions?

  4. And I'm not allowed on roller skates in public places anymore. Special OSHA restriction they enacted after my last attempt. But I don't want to dwell on that .......

Mine is more like a restraining order.........

  5. Looks like I got it together so I am pleased about that. Good to meet you Mike.

Thanks again. It was good to meet you as well. Care package to follow!

    Cliffs:

Rotarded: Dis-assembles Car stereo head unit, delivers to Akula for bypass/hack

Akula: His mad skills and steady hands solder a tiny-ass wire to two points the smaller than the dot above this i <

Rotarded: Puts head unit back together and tests. Hears grinding.

Rotarded: Dis-assembles/re-assembles 3 times to find he himself has fucked up the monitor's motor.

Rotarded: Sends unit out for repair leaving a gaping hole in his dash.

  6. I need to find someone who has the proper tools, the proper skills, the proper experience, and the desire to help me out with an electronics project.

This is being done on a car stereo head unit that will be removed from the car, and opened up exposing the circuit board.

    I need this done:

PM me if you are the man, or woman. Those with Parkinson's Disease need not apply.

Disclaimer: This mod allows you to use ALL of the navigation functions while the car is in motion. As it sits now, you must come to a stop and engage the e-brake before you can use ANY of the Nav functions. My unit allowed this prior to the installation of an upgraded/updated map disc. Now it's a pain in the ass, especially when on the highway, to change/search destinations/routes as you must pull over. My navigator is no longer useful to me. I might as well by a fucking atlas.

  7. That's actually my thinking. I think I'm going to go with a dress shirt and tie, but I've seen techs come in for interviews in full suits. They just look like complete douches.

I interviewed for a service writers position at Saturn West in a suit. Everyone looked at me funny at the time. It wasn't funny after 4 months when I took over the department.

The point is, that there is only ONE person you are trying to impress and that is the person your are interviewing with. YOU CAN NEVER BE OVERDRESSED FOR AN INTERVIEW! You can be under-dressed though! Do you want to take that chance?

  8. I would not hire you for management if you showed up in a polo and khakis.

    Quoted for truth.

In an interview, one always wants to convey the best possible impression of themselves, while limiting the reasons for others to be looked at more favorably.

Just think of it like this: If you and another person were almost identical in skill, experience, and intangibles, who would you think worked harder to make an impression, and may want the job a little more? Candidate A in the casual attire (khakis and polo)? Or, Candidate B in the business suit and tie?

I don't care if I'm interviewing for a GM's position, or trying to get that fluffer's job down on Cleveland Ave. I'm wearing a suit!

  9. Was right there also if that pole wasnt there id hate to say what would have happenend Thay shouldnt have a dj there thats the 2nd time people has wrecked one did last year also hes always talking about peoples cars when they go buy he probabaly told the guy something just like last year there was a guy in a chevelle and told the guy that thing cant peel out and caused a head on crash

Holy what the fuck is this abomination of grammar trying to say? I got a migraine seven words into it!
