We have one in the garage that was used for a month. It's a Emerson 1.7 cu. ft. model #CR177WE. I think we paid $120ish for it new.

I didn't purchase the Ecobee4 when I first saw this thread, and now that the price is up I'm kicking myself.

I'm thinking you could go to Best Buy, purchase it for $202, complete the $75 Columbia Gas rebate form, and the $75 AEP rebate form and you are back down to $52+ tax.

Not sure if this view has been posted yet, but what a scary event for everyone involved. I can't imagine going from "great concert", to "run for your life".

Seems highly "un-worth-it" if it can only tow 1000# / 165# tongue weight (trailer with no brakes)

 

Guess it depends how much the trailer itself weighs. The standard TSC mower type trailer weighs 5-600# empty. That leaves you 400# of cargo.

This. Unless you are using it for a hitch mount bike rack, buy something that can tow.

Where did you end up taking it, and how much was it to diagnose? My Pilot has similar issues, I don't mind not having a/c, but the kids are ready to kill me in my sleep.
