Time to sell the winter beater. 1991 Ford Probe GL. It is the base model, 2.2 liter, 5sp., non-power anything. Gets great gas mileage, but does have some issues.
Negatives:
Back glass hatch seal leaks. Leaks power steering fluid, add once per week, just needs 8 inch line from tank to bracket. Leaks oil, nothing major. Has a hole the size of my mouth in the washer fluid tank. The exhaust is louder than when it came from the factory, but not extreme. It developed a severe vibration in the steering wheel last week. It starts and runs, but I don't recommend driving under it's current condition. I have not had time, to check it out. Ball joints probabaly need replaced? Could be wheel bearings?
Positives:
New tires all the way around last year, new brakes up front 6 months ago, rotors and pads. I have new plugs, and stuff for a oil change to throw in as well.
Overall this car would be a great fixer upper if someone had some time to put into it, which I don't.
$650 OBO
Thanks,
Tom
