  1. I was on my way back from Ft. Knox last night about midnight, looks like the decision to come home and sleep was the better one. IPS- if you need someone to come out early, leme know. Good way to justify coming out to the wife.
  2. I should hope so. My frame rails have more steel than your entire car.
  3. More background needed. What are you planning to put this in, car/truck, year, body, transmission, gears, ect. Also, what is you goal? Top end, 1/4 MI, pulling a boat, off roading, fun daily, efficent daily, ect.
  4. If mine gets replaced before it grenades, ill have a 10 bolt 8.5" you can throw under there. Going to the dark side with F*rd parts.
  5. Ill bring a shovel to pick up your diferential. :gone:
  6. NTB. Ask for (IIRC) the 90 day alignment. It is what they do on the dealership cars, used to be $60ish.
  7. Congrats on making a redicously fast run. The camera shake was prety good, was that last number 191 or 193?
  8. 402 is an even number. Lock this bitch.
  9. 1980 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 18.5 21.4 Closest thing to my Buick (same body, smoger 350 instead of the smoger 307 I used to have.) New numbers on the 29th hopefully.....
  10. Forced sterilization.... via a rock dropped from the overpass onto thier nads. Works for me.
  11. Between 5'10" and 6'3" depending on what 7-11 I am walking out of.
  12. Surface area of drum vs. surface area of cable. (surface area of cable W*L, ignore circumfrance of cable). 8' of 1/4" cable 8*12 = length in inches (96) 96 * width .25 (I would use .30 so there is room between cables, maybe more or less pending your cable) 28.8 sq in How much space do you have for your drum? surface of a cylinder is (IIRC) 2PiR*length of cylinder Its early, in about 5 cups of coffe I might have something better than the work a kindergartner could turn out.
  13. Find a nice sized tree stump to test it out on. Or a small building. Someones porch maybe?
  14. Anthony, where you drinking without me again?
  15. I was band geek in H.S. Alto and baritone sax, drums, susaphone. Also was in show chior (sang the bass section shifted one octive down.)
  16. Having one go off in front of you is probably the scariest shit. Cant hear or see a thing, and you dont know if it was a single, a daisy chain, and if there is an ambush coming with it. RPGs come in a close second.
  17. The quarter bottle would probably fill up quicker if you didnt go to the laundromat and bought my washer and dryer. That is cool though. I used to have one of those oversized wine classes (think prop glass from Chris Rocks "no sechs in the champagne room") and alot of beer bottles died trying to fill it with caps. And liver cells.
  18. Working on my first one, waiting till I have a design I am happy with.
  19. Ill hit the filter first, go from there. Thanks
  20. You dont expect her to come here during the day do you? She probably has better things to do. Like popsicles.
  21. Wife GP is surging, starts out fine, however mild acceleration from ~35 - 60 yields a surging in the RPMs (aprox 500-700 rpm variance). Kind of like the torque converter is cycling in and out of lockup. Also, there is a fair amount of whine when accelerating, almost sounds like blower whine. Shifts firmly, fluid level is good, fluid looks good and smells like tranny fluid should. The car is in good shape, nothing else mechaicaly wrong, 120k on the clock. Anyone have some ideas? Thanks
  22. Jet hot is a ceramic coating, correct? I am not sure how well it holds up to chemicals, I would assume somewhat decent. Softscrub w/o the pumice, or orange hand cleaner could be worth a shot.
