  1. I have the ati converter out of my s10 for sale. It is currently setup for 5600 stall speed and is a 9 in model. Was 1000 new. Just spent 360 over the winter for a complete check up. Everything was perfect inside. I want ti run more boost and it being a 9" isint suited for it. Need a 9.5" or 10". It would rock for a nitrous setup supercharger or turbo looking at 9.00 and 150- 160 mph limit. Its made for th spline unput. So fits th350 th 400 and pg with th splines.
  2. If u can fit a large turbo do it. Only time ud ever have a issue is if your in front of the surge line. I just picked up my ls1 ac kit. 76mm. Key is to move more air at a lower boost pressure. This keeps heat down and rpm down. My heavy truck runs 8.90 @ 151 on average. Its not a great package for drag racing. But realize thats a gen 1 sbc 8.4.1 comp and 15psi and only 7200 rpm. To do the same thing with a 76mm it would be over 25psi and need more rpm. Yes if u run a large ar exh housing ud have a harder time spooling. In my honest opinion u want the largest turbo that will fit your goals. If your goal is 500whp u can run bb67 or a 70mm. If ur goal is 550 step up to a 76 and enjoy the benifits of more air at lower boost. The 76 with a .96 ar still has a small enuf exh housing to spool very well. Im looking to get a larger one on mine asap. Like a 1.01. Hope that helps
  3. My camaro is clean as hell just picked up chads ac fbody kit and a 76mm. The prices he listed are upgrades to the kit price. I believe the 76mm bb turbo is 800 by itself. Wich is similar to the turbonetics budget line and master power. He also has a line of larger turbos he can tell u about. But they are monsters!
