i know im thinking about tubbing it and putting a 33x17. prostock tire jegs has a set for 50 bucks. used about as much as my 13 yr old slicks. i figure run a 4.88 gear for the launch and with the 3" tire groth id be good to run 180mph. plus im adding a bw 122mm turbo, 400" sbc afr 235s ported to 265. and running on nitromethane. cause pump e85 is for slow cars. ok now i need a 6.50 + adv et cert. damnit anyone got a midget to get in through the door. im too big.

dont get me wrong i like my s10. but i was stuck with it because it was my first vehicle. ill never get rid of it. but deff am looking forward to the smaller tire camaro street car. x275. tire class rules for smc and turbo are 94mm and 3250lbs. im also getting a 106mm bb for some records in not class trim. i should be ordering the 25.2 or 25.3 cage in the next few weeks. maybe sept. will be all molly. with dual chutes. nothing like a street car with dual chutes.!!!!! im on a stupid tight budget too. so still taking some time. hell ive had the car 4 yrs and just getting to building.

oh well. things happend the way they did for a reason i guess. the malibu won and blew up so 600 should help. me and ray are still rolling so the extra cash wasent needed. allthough my truck could use a new set of slicks. 13yrs on the same ones. im poor. all the cars out there were fast cars . most to fast for the track that night. dew settled in way too fast. the wating till after 9 for the street cruise should have been the std 8pm time. and i was told on here NO test passes day of the event. got there and everyone ran test passes but me and ray. i missed watching the red nova was a sweet car. and i missed the spirit although i heard it was bad ass. it was there first time in that car. so it was doing real well. cant wait to meet up with the amc boys again. they are a real nice bunch. i wish i could have met the other drivers as well.

j/k it was the same tune as before. but i really do have a new dart block to replace the weaker stock one. winter time fun. ray car looks good in that photo.

u could build a 2dr 2wd blazer they are a lot of fun.

not in your case. thats a expensive car. dont think he wants to spend that much

next time will you prep the entire track? if more cars show up. i wana bring evan more power than i did this time.

s10s are slow. and not aerodynamic. plus huge weight balance issues. pick a car with closer to 50/50 weight. will work way better than a big old front heavy truck.

why not a 4th gen camaro. you get parts easy turbo kits arent too much and you cant beat the 6 spd ls combo. id love to do one but to many other projects.

Im gona laugh when her car is faster then half these dudes on cr. welcome. i like the look of the car deff a clean fl looking car. i hope our shitty ohio roads are kind to it. your car actually reminds me of daytona beach cruisin arround spring break. very clean cars down there. wish our roads were as smooth maybe there wouldent be so many beet up pos bodykit cars arround here. did you do the work yourself.

Good videos. i was hoping to find one that i could see the tire shake better. but i could still tell i got out of the grove. wish it would have hooked. should have been one hell of a pass. i proably should have left the truck alone and not put so much more power to it. it always hooked ok before with 1.30 60s. it just plain over ran the track bad. i think the 3.90s will be the way to go but wont know till after aug. it was a good time. and fun to watch. i would try and run the race durring the day though. track works better.

Not a big deal whats done is done. next time ill have it hookin. more power no test passes. straight from trailer to cruise to track.

i was too dumbfounded. i dint know about it i was told about it by a few other racers and spectators. i think i could have won but im still dumbfounded that it got tire shake hell ive never spun ive been borderline but that shit was nuts. i just loaded up for the night 100 bucks 1 pass. and blew a tire. it was a good night. was fun watching the racing. wish there was more heads up street car stuff that i could fit into.

ray should have one but i think his brake is bad he rolled through the beams and the gave the win to the malibu. i raced the malibu in round one left on the pro tree for the first time and imediatly pulled him by 3-5 cars then got stupid tireshake and truck was almost looking at the wall sideways. i was going to put 3.90s in it to slow the tire down. i guess that would have been the way to go. tire speed just came up too fast.

i may have done better if i did a longer burnout but ive never spun guess theres a first for everything. i was talking about how i always go down the track and im the one who overpowers it.lol oh well. it was a ok night. blew a trailer tire on the way home and sat on the side of the road for 3 hrs. that was fun.!!!!! i think im done for the season. see u guys out next yr. maybe my luck will change and ill have a new job that dont work 7days a week.

yea it should be sick. didnt know if it would make it. ive seen cars with less not make it down marion. but you never know. im just excited. i actually get to race for a change.

thanks for the q logic box and the sony stereo. the box sounds perfect with my kicker 10s in it. ill get the system up in the blazer soon as this heads up racing is over. thanks again.!

they do. but not too many most are roll racers. make good power cant hook. your right fairlane. im not a ford guy get em mixed up all the time. still working on the truck im leaving arround 4pm to head that way.
