  1. how in the hell do you get that? ive never seen a stock 350 take the punishment a 400 can. the only way its better is it puts a hair more power down.
  2. for how much. a lt1 would work since its a 1g motor. i have a bunch of th400s so thats the cheaper route. and the th400 and t56 use the same mount t56 just requires a spacer. so if i wanted to go fast i can always swap later.
  3. if you try a 700r4 at 550 to 600 ur gona hate it. for roll racing put a glide in it. will hold the power and put more to the ground.. ive seen good 700r4s break at 300ft lbs. u got to remember they came in camaros with 180hp max for a v8. and they still broke.
  4. hey guys should i do a t56 or a th400 and brake in the 89 s10 blazer build up. the motor will be done soon and ill be making turbo headers and mount for it. but should i go with a t56 two overdrives for a kickass driver with 550 whp. or a th400 and go for the 60ft and good ets.
  5. is dw42 1/8th for test and tune on fri? if so im not going.
  6. it needs two planetarys. wich are 799 for one and 599 for the other hubs and a drum wich always cracks. the whole design of the pump is fubard. need a constant pressure pump wich is 499. and a rebuild kit for 260. plus new boost valves, upgraded servoes. having built these for power its a waist. easier to go with a good tranny to start with.
  7. to build a 700r4 up to 700 hp capacity. plan on spending 2000 in upgrades. they are junk all the parts inside are junk. the 4l60e second model has most of the mods done but needs a computer. 2004r is a better option. harder to find and still neds some work. im going to th400. since i dont wana spend 2000 on my 700r4. u want a good one to try.? 50 bucks.

  14. thats what im afraid of. i almost hit the wall last time cause tireshake real bad. i only made one pass and loaded it up. its a shame that evan a big tire car cant hook there.
  15. is it still 15 to race. their site shows it as a weekend event. only wana run friday t&t. is the track way better? im gona need a killer track. trying to run on 19.5 to 20 lbs boost and spray. and leaving with 17lbs. should on a good track60 ft very low 1.2s and go hopefully 8.70s or better.
  16. im plannin on taking the s10 friday to test the 4.10s and see if i can slow the tire enough to get down the track. same tune as the forum wars night. anyone else plannin on going.

  19. one thing about making a lot of passes. you figure out a lot. but i know with 134 135 mph thats a low 9.90 with 1.37-8 60 ft.

  23. why would you buy a electronic part from autozone? go to napa get the good stuff.
  24. no doubt u can get it to work. but will take a good tune on the chassis. the weights will be a lil off but not as bad as u would think, the larger slicks will make it more stable side to side wich is good. but small wheel base drag cars are just a lil more unforgiving but its been done. would look cool.
