I feel like the "fixer n chief " in my house and its not always car stuff either but different things that come up in the house....

 

Fixed the stove (I think) cleaned up the terminals as someone recommended and it works ...yay !

 

Fixed a broken window switch (got lucky and soldered the right spot)

 

I can get someone in to do it but I think I like the high of getting it fixed myself and mooching around my garage giving myself hi fives.

We have a Kenmore range that has put out a toxic electrical burning smell I pulled the back cover off and found this,eek!

 

 

 

 

Question is what caused this? If I replace the board and moly plug am I free and clear?

 

Cliffs lots of posts on the web about Kenmore ranges going up in smoke...buy another brand.

There is a culture of "Fast Fords" back in Europe... turbo 4 bangers and a Rs badge have the most cred...expect it to be 40k.

Hoping this spurs the other manufactures else to bring over their cool stuff,especially as a small displacement high hp motors come online.

We have a half basement crawl space that was not finished by Rockford and it is a pain to crawl back there to get to anything.

 

What type of cost are we looking at to excavate a area,about 23 x 19 x 3.8 ft high or about 60 yards?

 

Is it common to punch through the outside wall and create a door to deal with excavating all the dirt?

Big fan of my 58 inch Panasonic plasma too ! its in the basement so glare is not a big deal,picture is great and customizable...seeing a 4K screen yesterday would be the only tech that would make me want to upgrade.

Put some steelies on,and at first I thought I will get wheel covers but after having them on for a few hours i,m feeling the fugly.

Should I put covers on of just leave it ?

 

 

 

I was running a bunch of tire/wheel size conversions on another screen,can I use that as my defense?......got the 3 brain cells completely working again.

I have 3 screens up sorry.....so 2900 lbs divided by 484 wheel hp= 5.99 lbs/hp

Off topic... is there a "calculator" to put in cars weight and hp to = x.x lbs/hp.
