Someone we know paid 800K to build at Evans,so pretty spendy?
I can see small yard a kitchen social on site and a railway crossing being a minus though.

I don’t like the tires that came with the Pilot I just bought. After I get new tires are there any places that will buy my old ones? Don’t want to post on market place or anything like that.
Silly question what's "wrong" w them? (we have pilot)

So, will this storm be the beast for us that the fear mongers are predicting, or will it be a joke?
I predict they will hype it either way.
Zeros given as genny is working great and have enough go juice.
I,m more worried about vents clogging up asphyxiating everyone as much as anything else.

FYI, RCD RV appointment set last week, for January 29th. Ramey's RV Repair down south is February 12th...just for estimates!!!
Ramey's receptionist was very nice, warned me a similar-sized RV roof replacement recently quoted was $5200. I guess it's like everything mechanical: you get out of it what you put into it, and selling something well-worn is just trading one set of problems for another...
.
All the stuff you have done yourself I'm sure you could do 99% as good a job for less monies.

in theory it shouldn't be that hard to find with 2 people by pouring water on the seams vents and openings.

It is and could have really spent more time there going inside the visitor center that closed at 4.30,the fort area and other exhibits were closed from Hurricane Florence but will open next year.
You can imagine the routine they had was pretty boring but were kept busy by doing patrols drilling and such, sleeping arrangements were pretty tight.
Bread oven?
"parade square" had a nice little echo to it

Took a trip to NC and we always like to check out some local parks and was nicely surprised by this Civil War-era fort nearly totally surrounded by water at the eastern tip of Bogue Banks.
