just a thought, maybe you could borrow a stock ecu and see if it runs (and how well seeing as to how its modded) and if that doesnt work, then you could just go after market and not have paid for something you dont need.

No if its modded ++ he will blow his motor.

Shame they don't come looking like this from the factory,even with "only" 300HP I would rock one as a daily.

I don't like the idea of their FS bikes, as I don't like the idea of any cheap FS bike. But Carl's Forge hard tail is speced about the same as my $500 (msrp) Giant hard tail.

It 5 years ago I bought my Forge and it has stood up to hard beatings.

The ew factor is they sell some of their bikes through Target but it is better bike than that,

I bought online and saved,the local bike shops were twice the price .

Is it possible to diy myself and not to look like crap?

I saw a e92 M3 with a matte silver finish on it and it looked evil and it gave me a idea to do the FD.If I can find the car I will post the picture up.

Oh and I,m handy as a bodyman paint and such and open to learn,I,m wondering if "enthusiasm" and a little skill are enough.

 

I had absolutely zero issues with it stock. It dynoed 365rwhp in bone stock (yes, absolutely stock) form. It was amazingly easy to drive - honestly, if it wasn't for our weather, it could have easily been my daily driver.

 

Apart from the obvious is it feasible to daily drive in winter at all? too much tq??
