Are you sure it's the ignitor, and not something upstream? From my limited knowledge of heaters, it seems as if it's usually a relay that doesn't work, and the lighter itself is fine. If it is the relay, you might be able to get a compatible one at Radio Shack.

 

i,m not positive if it is the ignitor its 8 years old and does not glow red so I.m strating with that.

 

EDIT just pulled the part and found a hairline crack in the ignitor.

Heat went out last night,looks like the ignitor on my Carrier furnace is not glowing and is dead,anywhere open on sunday to buy one?

Thanks was trying to remember those guys.....everything works no leaks just cosmetic damage to the canister tip.

I have a 4-5 inch catback tip that is hit a solid object and is bent out of round and want to fix it back to a cylinder shape (the fart can piece)

I could probably spend more than its worth getting it repaired,any one out there that could fix it? Carl.

Finished,dropped her down go inside and when I come back notice a massive oil leak!! sh$%!

turns out I dropped the car on the oil catch container and it spewed half the oil on my garage floor !! look around nobody notices so dont tell anyone ok?

i,m just changing the oil and plugs on the 7,will get it warm and run car for 10 minutes go for a drive around the block.

Yeah you probably could get just about any Artist from the web.I just found a old mix tape with Pete tong from back in the day,so I,m burning that,i guess I just want it in itunes so when I,m working on my car or whatever I wont drop the internet connection.

Thats one I do have in all formats! I even have the rockumentary!

Gotta love freeware http://www.nch.com.au/golden/index.html this lets you convert vinyl or old mix tapes and rip a mp3,I guess i must have cabin fever or something but its pretty cool to waste a few hours with.
