  1. ...So, I was playing with Brady. He was on the floor, I was face down on our bed, moving my fingers back and fourth over the edge so he could see them. He followed them intently, and I would occasionaly snap them forward at him, startling him, good fun....which turned to amazement. On one snap, this cat jumped. Not like a prepared jump, where he coiled up and got his footing first, he just went BOING. He hopped from the floor, over my head and landed in the middle of our queen sized bed. 4ft vertical and 6ft horizontal on an impulse hop. It was the coolest thing I've seen all week. So, who's buying us a camera?
  2. Just wet spray it untill it melts or explodes. 8)
  3. Is it still considered street racing if you race against a Saturn on foot?
  4. food for thought: I dont see any mention of laser or light based devices.
  5. only traffic misdemenors are cited in the code. If you commit a felony, you can be arrested by any cop, any time. You may even be subject to citizens arrest, but I'm not sure what the laws reguarding that are. feloneez is bad
  6. Ditto, but not the ones that I receive when I am obeying the law, hence my current situation. The fastest I've ever gone was about 90-100mph....over the posted limit. The fastest sustained speed was 110mph on I-80 going across nebraska, I still got passed. Aound here I've been making a concerted effort to obey the speed limit and let my record clear up. Which is why it pisses me off that I got this latest ticket. Apart fromt his, I dont remember my last speeding violation, its been a while. It used to happen every 3-6 months.
  7. This is for those who didn't know. I've als heard a couple stories of people being pulled over by a cop because an off-duty officer saw them speed and called them in. There are many municipalites out there who capitalize a great deal ont eh general publics lack of knowlege.
  8. Something that I've heard speculated, but most people didn't know for sure either way. I found it while studying the ORC. You cannot be pulled over and issued a citation by an unmarked car or an ununiformed officer. If you are, his testimony is inadmissable. The law specificaly calls him "incompetant". Its a fact, tell your freinds.
  9. or, MG RV8. Thought it was cool, so I'm sharing: http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/2670/img2217eo6.jpg http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/5293/img2218xf1.jpg http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/8471/img2219dg8.jpg http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/204/img2220cb2.jpg
  10. Just stab a room temp tub of vasaline while tazering a goat for sound, same effect. This also works for Stevie Nicks
  11. this is why you pay porn stars. Who the fuck wants to watch a chick work a half-flacid bent twig for 5 minutes, then prentend to enjoy it for 10? Did that guy have liver spots? He needs some fuckin Viagra and enzyte before he tried this again...and a bloody tripod. Shit man, move around, try more then 1 position, film more then a snatch and a boob.
  12. Is this normal market price for these? I love these cars, but $2500 seems way too expensive for a 16 year old honda that needs work. I'm not trying to bash anything or pick anyone apart. I'm just asking if this is normal for these cars? I've heard of them going as low as $50 (yes fitfty) for cars that run.

  14. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/bd/Yop.PNG/180px-Yop.PNG Its also the airport code for a BFE stip in northern Alberta.
  15. Jason who? What neccesitated all that driveline work. Experience has shown many of us that; "The more you mess with someting, the more it will need to be messed with."
  16. Are you looking for work? We do alot of work with Blacklick Machine, they crank out pretty much all of the tooling and gauging I design.
  17. buy me a digital video camera.
  18. Something like that, you're probably not going to get out of it by citing "beond a resonable doubt". In th eeyes of a judge, he's going to look at that and say "Well, its obvious what was meant, and its obvious that you were doing 75mph somewhere". Plus there's the possiblility that the cop has it logged correctly somewhere. What you might try is to move that the ticket is inadmissable as evidence because it was not properly filled out. Then it's just up to testimony. If it were a CPD traffic officer who writes 100 tickets a month, you could move that his testimony isn't admissable since there's no way he could specificaly remember your incedent. I once met an officer less then 24 hours after he responded to an accident I was involved hin, he had no idea who I was and didn't remember a damn thing about it. You're going to need a damn good lawyer to pull those off, thoug, you're best bet would be to show up, plead not guilty, and try to haggle it down. If they wont, just plead no contest and see what you can do with the fine.
  19. give me a box and a camera and I'll give you more. Our ferral cat jumps on top of the box, the untaped flaps give way and he falls in....I then quickly close the flaps and flip the box upside down, trapping him.....untill he busts through the taped side of the box. The whole proccess never takes more then 30-40 seconds.

  21. Ya this is why I'm hunting a hard copy, I dont have that much paper.
  22. I read that, I also read: Different laws here, my main mang. Hey jon, there is a string of number in the "Remarks" box that goes as such: 1/16.94 D/8000 The writing sucks, the 1 looks more like a 7, and the D looks like a P. But from this scribble, could it mean 8000ft, in 1min: 16.94 seconds? If you crunch those TSD numbers, though, they dont match my citation speed. Would they realy clock speed over a mile and a half, including an onramp?
