The one and only. I'm liquidating my whole trackday racing operation in the name of..well, cash. So no trades. What yo get is a whole lot of shit, but summarized you get; -Strong 5.0 w/useable tranny -in a IRS turn-key caged smelly loud car -a heap of parts to support the habbit of racing. Still reading? Good, here is the long list of what you're getting; The Car 1991 Mercury Cougar XR7 5.0 EFI V8 / AOD 4 wheel disc IRS Gutted interior (kept power windows/locks, and I still needed a place to sit) S&W Gage The Car - stuff in it; Engine: 15k miles, all miles after break-in have seen mobile one Block: fully machined (deck squared, line honed, balanced) ARP wave lock rod bolts ARP main Studs FMS oil pump with hardened ARP shaft Crane cams double roller Timing chain FMS f-303 cam shaft Heads: Ported E7te castings Multi-angle valve job Milled to 58cc chambers TFS double valve springs TFS chromoly locks and retainers Teflon valve stem seals ARP head bolts Intake: FMS cobra upper and lower intake manifolds FMS 65mm throttle body SN95 70mm air meter with custom cold air intake and K&N filter Exhaust: MAC 1 1/2\" primary shorty headers (chrome) Off-road Downtubes and H-pipe (2 1/2\" custom) 2 1/2\" flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers, dumped (custom) Cooling system: Pep-boys 3-core radiator Fuel system: BBK 190lph in-tank fuel pump flow-matched 19lb injectors Drive Line: 20,000 GVW trans cooler Trans-go street/strip shift kit TCI 3500 stall lock-up torque converter Mark VIII aluminum center section with 3.27 gears Ignition: Crane HI-2000 ignition Crane fireball coil FMS 9mm plug wires Battery relocated to the trunk in NHRA legal box with battery cut of switch misc: A/C and Smog pump (and equipment) removed Autometer Phantom water temp and oil pressure gauges Tube and sheet Alum dash. (not pretty, but it has a job to do and does it) 30% tinted windows Gforce 5pt harness Suspension; Eibach Pro kit rear Air bags The Part Heap Volvo Electric fan/shroud set-Mark VIII half shafts set-99 Cobra Half shafts Rear Knuckes, 2 left / 1 right (left's need bearings) Jamex springs Alum Diff; 4.30 Track Lock Mark VIII Rear air ride (came with subframe) Mark VIII rear subframe (dissasembled but complete with Alum control arms) 94-95 Mustang GT bell housing/clutch fork/throw-out bearing new 99 cobra clutc cable/quadrant/firewal adjuster Wheels/Tires 4 16x7.5 XR7 rims w/ 245/50/16 Hankook Ventus HRII (on car) 2 16x7.5 89-93 Supercoupe rims w/ 255/50/16 BFG Comp T/As 2 16x7.5 89-93 Supercoupe rims, bare 2 17x9 Cobra R Repro's w/ 275/40/17 Kumho Victoracers 2 17x9 Cobra R Repro's w/ 245/40/17 Goodyear Eagle GS/CS All tires used, alot, but with plenty of life left The car runs great and drives...tolerably. It's loud, and 4th gear is gone. You could drive it anywhere you want, as far as you want. How long you want to spend in it is up to you, I recomend a walkman. The car came as an Auto, then was converted to a T5 5 speed by the previous owner....then the T5 self'dissasembled, and the AOD was put back in to get it around. I've accumulated a few parts for the T5 conversion. As the car sits, with its 3.27 open diff, 3 speed old auto tranny, and nothing more then eibach springs and the used R compounds, it got around Mid Ohio's Club course consistently in the 1:45-1:50 range. I was unable to acclerate out of corners because the inside tire would light up, and I had no top end because of the tranny. With a minor investment in the transmission, you could make use of the steeper Track Lock Diffs and suprise alot of people. For a bit more you could upgrade the brakes and suspension, and begin accumulating trophies. Now, the pics; http://thewoodomain.net/files/11/front.jpg Rear right inside left inside backseat the boot powerplant hoops parts $2500 Firm, takes all of it.

Bud+get = onda cheep. I may out a tranny in the cougar with some of my Fed return check, but I've got to stay cheap. I can get a stout direct bolt in AOD for less then a swap to a used T5. I'd much rathr have a nice manual, but they aint cheap, nor are the parts, or labor for the swap. New AOD = 1 day job.

Sweet!!!...Shit! GM only?
-
Anyone know a brand or retailer? That's what I'm getting at.
-
If you think this is true, click here. Driving after a pint is not drunk, and is no where near the same ballpark as drinking $250 worth of boost after 5 months sober.
-
Gimme?
-
I'd heard on a grapevine that someone makes/has made an AOD paddle shift system? Is this true?
-
I've got a 94-95, and some other misc bits. Will trade for functional AOD.

The origional sticker price of the Benze was between $45,000 and $50,000 in 1986. Adjusted for inflation, that's $77,000-85,000, the EVOII flavor cost almost twice that. Nice ones seem to be going for about $10-12,000, got mine at a Bargain for $5500. THe deapths of depriciation, I may actualy make money on a car! The Esprit has me beat on price, but so far i think I win on most depriciation, almost $80,000. Both the Tbirds were around $19,000, and the cougar was about 16-17k.

I hope to got this is admissable. Scott, you fucking jackass, why the fuck are you proud of this? Hooray, you're a statistic waiting to happen, burn in hell. If anyone in my family gets hit my a drunk driver, I swear to god I'll have their eyes.

Because this is a place called "Society". If you wan't Dog-eat-Dog, move to Sierra Lion or Rowanda. You get fucked, your neighbors help you out. One of them gets fucked, you help them out. Every major city in this nation is waiting to fall victim to natural disaster. The ones everyone probably thinks of, like LA or San Fran, aren't the only places total disaster can happen. Mt Hood is waiting to level Seattle, rashes of Torandos can hit any number of major cities, Hurricanes can slam every major city on the easter seaboard and the gulf. Columbus itself can be in capcitated and severyly dammaged by a whoile host of things. There's a shit ton of Americans down there who lost their homes. Not their "houses, not comodities, their homes. You fucking help them, of get the fuck out of our country. Now, back on topic. They aren't asking for $250bill to "rebuild" jack shit. They (those in local power) want a new city, and see this and more of an opportunity then a disaster. The people trying to rebuilt shatter existences will see very little of that money. There's already things in motion to turn entire neighborhoods into greenspace, buldozing perfectly salvagable proprties. There's some sad shit happening down there, and the biggest mistake is letting this administration handle the money.

White slaves, I know I can't find them in town, you'd have the market to yourself. Seriously: It's better to market services then goods, generaly cheaper start up cost. Aask yourself; What are you good at?
-
I'd actualy pay to see that, what a glorious sight! I'd pull over and ask; "Would you mind if I just kicked the shit outa some pannels? You don't realy have to care anymore."
-
$250bill isn't much when you have the government spending it. Or, i should say, it doesn't get much done when the government is spending it.

I have zero, I dont go to the hospital. They said it was for some properties management comany shit, over $3000. I damn sure would remember that. I think they have the wrong Eric Grothaus, google it. Berto, are they on Town street?
-
So I get a call on my unlisted Cell phone from 1 800 395 8289, screen it, voicemail says "Hi Eric this is Amanda, please call me back ar 222 4300." So, I google it and it and "CBCS" (the name given when I called the 800 number) and they show up like a rash all over the BBB and other such sites. A: Has anyone here heard or dealt with them. B: how the fuck did they get my number? C: what form of legal representation handles this shit.
-
It's actualy plainly visible in this shot. Thats an expensive assed fuel distributor, I've heard of them selling well into the 5 figures.

Damn people here are more savy then I'd expected. I was expecting the v8 with a throttle body to immediately trip "Late 80's" in most minds. I should have posted an engine with less wear. http://www.info.pagoden.de/6.3%20Motor.jpg http://www.benzworld.org/gallery/pics/24_1432346_311200533555AM.jpg I saw one the other day and it struck me as being quite cutting edge for 67.

Nobody lives in california, you relinquish your soul at the boarder. Ya know, it realy makes me want to live there. If they can afford to be so focused on vehicle law, there must be no crime of any other sort. Hazzah for cali!
