    Your best bet would be to vaccum form one. But that would take ALOT of material just to create a vaccum forming thing that big. Why not just by a stock hood and put it on?

    Yea its an auto trans, no leaks that I know of, it just hangs shifts, or won't shift when its supposed to and you have to completely let off the gas to get it to shift.

    Anyone on here know about a special tool it requires to check the tranny fluid on a 1997 VW Jetta with a 1.8L motor in it? Dave or Derek, can you guys check it? This is a friends car and she lives on campus. No dipstick that I can see.
