I just figured since im coming from a sportbike, i would just wear my helmet all the time on the cruiser, and wouldn't need a windshield. But i never thought about the wind hitting my body.... hmmmmm more to think about.

Best case scenario i want to trade straight up for a 2000'ish shadow. they seem to vary in price anywhere from $2500 all the way up to $7500. I am looking for a used bike as I am only going to be spending the money i get from my bike if i do sell it outright, and i think i can probably only get $3000 for mine. The more and more i look at pictures i like the looks of the aero and ACE but i just can't stand them when they have the windshield on them. that was my main reason for wanting the spirit.

Well right now i can't ride mine for longer than 30 minutes at a time. I have had hip surgery twice as a teenager and now it just kills me to ride in that position. Basically i want something that is good for around town and good for longer trips, probably won't be doing any 4 hour drives with it, but would like to be able to stay on it for at least 2 hours.

I have a 1995 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R that has a little over 13,000 miles on it. I just did chain, sproket, oil, filter, plugs, air filter and had the bike professionally painted Sunset Orange Metalliac. That was all done at the begining of this season. The bike runs great and starts up everytime. Doesn't leak a drop of anything. I am thinking about selling my ZX6R and getting a shadow spirit. Does anyone here have a shadow or know anyone that does? are they comfortable(main reason for selling my bike)? are they reliable? any and all opinions are welcome.

There should be a key hole on the back drivers side of it. Put key in, turn key, lift cowl. at least that is how my Kaw is .
