songbird is the way to go. it is an opensource replacement for itunes. I haven't used it with a Nano yet, but it works fine with my 3rd gen and my shuffle.

stock internals are good into the 10's, and someone just went 8's on a stock block. upgrade the fuel pump and you are good into the 10's at least. Oil leaks are the biggest known problem, and that is just because they are getting to be so old. the stock head gaskets are REALLY strong. Just remember you are buying a car that was made 20 years ago, and make sure to get an 86 or an 87. Tranny will only go 12's and then you will need to have it built. the cutout is in the first pic, about half way down the driveshaft.

well i know when i cut the panel on mine, i rtv'd a plate of metal over the hole and then riveted it down to make sure it would stay there. as long as you do the "trap door" right there should never be a problem with it. Now if you cut the hole and leave it wide open then ya it is a hack way to do it.
