no you only pay once. if you fail, you just have to wait 24 hrs to re-take it again. When i failed i thought i was gonna have to pay again and i got PISSED, then later found out that i could take it again free of charge.

read throught the ENTIRE! book. and you have to do it word for word, then you should pass the first time. i failed the first time, but i didn't study at all. then i went back and retook it after studying, and got a 93 or something like that.

I am in pretty much the same boat as chief8one. I am currently thinking about a 1998 suzuki katana 600. would this be a good starter bike? I know its not the fastest thing out there, and it doesnt even look all that great, but i think it would be a good learner bike, and it meets the $2500 price cap too.

yes, i just went and signed up lastnight for the april 27,29,30 class. If you wanna talk to someone about it call sandy at 740-548-0708 ext 2229. she is the one in charge of registering people. The april 27th class was the first available and aparently they still have ALOT of openings. They have 2 classes per week, and they start the end of march and go till the end of october, so there should be plenty of room.
