Like they are trying to tell you. Your shift points are not at peak power but when power really starts to drop off.

Your car is still making over 300rwhp at 5800 rpm there is no reason to shift your car before that. Your graph is fine and for a lid only car 312rwhp is normal. Have Brian set your shift points to 6000 rpm and I would talk to him about making the car alittle leaner. 12.5s is way safe. I would want to see your car in the 12.8-13.1 range. There is nothing wrong with your car and you need to use NGK TR5s with your setup they should be pregapped for you but make sure you check them.

I'm not trying to start a flame war with you but you are wrong. STOCK cams do not make peak power above 6000rpm. Making power yes, I shifted my car at 6100 with a stock cam.

If Brian tuned your car and you are unhappy with the shift points pick up the phone and call him. I'm sure he would be more than happy to change the shift points for you. You should be shifting around 6000rwhp with a stock cammed car.

If your car is an auto leave it in drive and let the car shift it's self. Until you put a cam in the car don't worry about shift point. EDIT: why is your car shifting at 5500? are you sure that the tach is just not slow and is reading incorrectly? I shift my car at ~7000 rpm and the tach never reads over 6500 I just watch for my shift light. With just botl on I would think your car is shifting at ~5800 rpm
