The cheapest way to go fast is to buy one modded. You may want to find a built Yamah GP1200/1300. They are older than the RXP and cheaper.

Have you ridden with Tommy yet? Do you pull away from him?

I've gone off twice at 75+ and both times the wind was knocked out of me (ask Shanton about me kart wheeling past him when he was at WOT.) I would think once you are running in the low 80 it's time to wear a helmet.
