Dover, now is a bad time to buy a diesel truck. I've seen the price of diesels go up about 2-3k since we started getting snow and now even more because of Tax return season.

You want to buy an 04.5 or newer (LLY, LBZ, or one of the LM seriers motors). In 06 is when the Allison went from a 5 speed auto to a 6. LB7 motors are prone to injector issues. They tend to leak and because the injectors are in the head, under the valve cover when they leak they leak diesel into the oil.

My new parts are starting to roll in and summer can not come soon enough. I'm waiting on a number of other parts but, here is what I've got so far. I can't wait to do 80MPH this summer.
