  1. I'm a fan of XP myself but lately I've been messing around with Win7 and from what I can tell Microsoft got it right.
  2. So it sounds like the 64 bit version is still working but the 32bit version is definitely not. Joe, Is yours only 64bit or does it have a 32bit version too?
  3. at 5'10" I'm guessing you're a medium so a 16" to 19" frame would probably fit you well. Best way to fit a bike is stand over the top bar and if you have 3 to 4 inches between your junk and the bar your good. Try both, you might feel more comfortable on a large frame. I'm 5'11" and I ride a medium frame Cannondale for off road trails but I like a large framed bike for riding asphalt trails or the road. 19 to 21 inches is a large frame. Also like blue jeans every brand is a little different fit. Cannondale's medium frame is usually a little larger than a Specialized medium frame.
  4. Rob, These machines aren't going to be on display. When I went there and bought an Emachine for $239 they said they keep all the less expensive machines in the back. Good luck. If you need XP Pro install disc lmk.
  5. The drivetrain on that bike is all bottom end stuff too. I would bet that the disc brakes are cable actuated not hydrolic. You could get a much better used bike for that kind of money. Do you know what size bike you need?
  6. Microsoft had to catch on to this. I did one more install and finally got the message in the CMD box that the product key had been installed successfully. Rebooted and checked to verify validation and it wasn't validated. I ran Belarch adviser and found out what the key is that was installed. tried entering it manually and get error code 0xC004E003 'The Software Licensing Service reported that evaluation failed.' That error code means the key is invalid. Anyone got anymore tricks? I actually like Windows 7 It's been running really well on a Pentium M 1.6Ghz with 1gb of ram. I would say it runs as fast as XP pro and Vista I wouldn't even consider on this laptop. I tried it once and it booted about as fast as a 386 booting XP Pro.
  7. I felt the same way when we got back. I could have stayed. I didn't mind the re routing of the sidewalks as much as I did the timeshare pimps along the sidwalks. The timeshare people were 100x worse than the Mexican folks that hand out the cards with naked chicks on them.
  8. went through the install again and after the window saying that windows is finalizing and will restart I get an error message that displays for about 2 seconds. All I can catch is it saying that windows cannot finish finalizing......and reboots
  9. We went to Vegas in September and stayed at the MGM. Had a great view from our room on the 24th floor of this new hotel/casino being built. This must be a part of the MGM hotels because I keep getting players card emails from them with great room rates for the ARIA.. http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2996/1000948.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/2803/1000944k.jpg My attempt at a panoramic shot... http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/8996/1000946j.jpg
  10. Just completely reinstalled the 32 bit version exactly as the instructions say to. After the black box goes away and reboots Windows.... the system screen still says I have to activate Windows in 30 days. Is there a certain account name that needs to be used? Do I need to have a network connection for the blackbox to work?
  11. ok thanks. I'll reinstall it. BTW thanks for sharing this
  12. I did it just like the instructions said. I don't remember seeing the black box pop up. Should Windows show itself as activated after the install?
  13. Justin, I installed the 32bit version and when I check the activation it tells me I have 22 days left to activate it. Is this true or is everything ok?
  14. I got a 92 323 that this would drop in. still got everything needed for the conversion?
  15. I talked to about 10 people that tried it one night and none of them liked it. said it should be illegal. By the way the one guy was talking they all had a pretty bad experience with the stuff.
  16. That listing has been removed, but I'm sure it's the same stuff.
  17. Ch 6 news did a story a couple weeks ago on a synthetic pot called K2. It's sprayed with a synthetic THC and it's marketed as Potpourri. Comes in different flavors and strength levels. I had never heard of the stuff before so I looked on EBay and Amazon and both places sell it. The news said no one locally sells it yet.
  18. 20 years ago I blew up an 83 Escort GT turbo by going from 5th to 2nd. In my defense the shifters in those old escorts even when new was extremely sloppy. Funny part about it was that I drove the car 20 more miles to the car lot I worked at and the engine sounded great. The next day I went to move the car and the engine had a rod trying to come the rest of the way through the block.
  19. If you just need a basic PC to surf the web and to run MS Office and want to spend as little as possible..... This would be worth looking at. Microcenter has refurbished Gateway Quad Core desktops with decent specs for $329. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0326275 I'm tempted to go get one for my wife.
  20. Very nice! Love the 82 GT. The 79 Pace Car and the 82 GT are my favorite Fox body cars. My next Mustang will be one of the two.
  21. Power Consumption Cooling: 1000W/9.0A Power Consumption Heating: 1150W/9.2A I hope Bo doesn't mind me answering your questions for him.....
  22. This is a really good deal for this spot cooler. The nice thing about this one is you never have to worry about checking the water bucket every 3 or 4 hours. The one spot cooler I have you have to empty every couple hours or it'll shut down. This one disperses the water for you if it's the same one in the link below. Remember you'll still need to vent the exhaust. Dryer hose usually works. http://www.sylvane.com/amcor-nanomax-c14000e.html
  23. I go to the Milhon Clinic off of 315 just north of 270. http://www.millhonclinic.com They charge $100 for the office visit then more for what ever tests you get done. When I had ulcers I had to have an upper GI done to confirm them. That was about 10 years ago and I still have to take Previcid everyday to help with the acid. Good luck Matt, Where the hell you getting your insurance from? That's sounds really cheap....
  24. I'll give ya $25 for the 22 revolver.
  25. I have been using this jack for the last year and haven't had any problems with it. If you get their email coupons you can get it for $79 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=91039 They also have a rapid pump for $149 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=47246
