What I did is just change the speedo gear to make up for the gear change and not the wheel/tire change.
Mine is still around 5 off at 60 but doesn't bother me.
My dad and I did mine without much of a problem. None of us being super mechanics or anything.
It all comes down to taking your time and being super exact with measurements and the installation. If you don't have a couple days or even a week to devote to it then don't even attempt, but it was worth saving the $200 or so dollars IMO.
No offense but I hope you didn't pay much for that paint job. Looks horrible.
Maybe a good wet sand can fix it but who knows.
Anywho, congrats on getting it painted. I can't say I wouldn't take a new, even not the greatest, paint job right now.
My buddies car had them... when I drove it I had no problems seeing them at all.
I think they look pretty pimp as well.
But then again...why not just put them on the pillar?
