  1. I work in the industry but don't have the time to do a huge project, but if you have trouble finding guys PM me for recommendations. I'm gonna send out feelers and see who is available. Right now most of the legit contractors who do legit work are SUPER slammed.
  2. Only calling it like I see it. No harm, no foul, right?
  3. That might be because you've got your head so far up your own ass exhaling as frequently as possible in order to inflate that giant ego of yours that you can't see the light of day, let alone take the advice from someone in the industry that knows more than you (which I know is hard for you to fathom), but that's none of my business. YMMV. Have a great evening.
  4. This. I remember getting AP his rookie year in the 6th round. Glorious.
  5. 100% agree. Looks very non-American. Classic caddies were difference makers. This looks like a new 'Stang stuck it in an OOOOdi's tailpipe and this thing popped out 9 months later.
  6. Nice grab, especially with that drive train. Enjoy. I miss my XJ.
  7. Next Bob. Text me if it doesn't sell for some reason.
  8. Saw this earlier today. LOL'd. Harbaugh WAS a decent QB for them. He's AWFUL at interviews, comments, and...so far everything else. Time will tell. He may be a great coach. We'll see.
  9. Low mileage 'Cuda I really dig this '74 Olds vert for a cruiser. Ya don't see a '67 Polara every day. '69 Olds has always been a fav. Also, at $8K there is room for new paint or anything else. '72 Duster looks nice. '40 Gasser is sick. I know it's not a '60's muscle car, but I love these old '40's. HERE'S the '59 Chevy truck you need. '70 Olds 98. Clean cruiser.
  10. Werd. Met Jono pre-CR at a ColsDSM meet. Good dude.
  11. That looks good, that version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door sounds good.
  12. Worth $whatsomeone.iswillingtopay. ...which isn't much usually.
  13. Here's one I am working on currently. Inspired by Thor's hammer for a huge comic book fan. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=971&pictureid=8574 Here's a set I did for an auction by an Instagram pipe page called "BadassBriars". The FDA imposed new laws on Aug 8th and implemented a bunch of BS on pipes, tobacco, ecigs, and cigars. Long story short this guy took it upon himself to get a bunch of people involved before that happened to donate their talents, time, and efforts. He posted on his well followed page an auction every day for a full week leading up to the date of the new, strict regulations. Each maker got to auction off pieces and donate to the charity of their choice. I did a knife, pipe, and tamper, to raise funds and awareness for Crohn's and Colitis as these diseases has/does affect many of my fam members. The knife is a 440c steel blade I outsourced. Handle is cherry with a custom purple die. Purple is the color designated to raise awareness for Crohn's and Colitis. The tamper is 100% hand carved cherry using the same custom mixed dye and a .38 special casing. The pipe is 100% hand whittled, carved, polished, and dyed briar, using the same custom dye. The stem is acrylic. I mixed the dye myself and dumped the rest so there would never be another with this exact mixture. The customer, in Ontario, received the set today and has already messaged me telling me how well the pipe smoked. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=971&pictureid=8573

  15. Quick update, sorry no pics: Well, dad's wanting to keep this thing as original as possible but would like to exceed 50 MPH and be able to stop. We had trouble finding disc conversions for a 3/4 ton front end so we went on the hunt for a 1/2 ton. We found one not too far from him. Halfway between Cville and Amanda. We went, and my brother, myself, and dad, using a log chain, pulled it out of the mud. The front end there, was at least, buried axle deep and intertwined with weeds. It was rough. Guy asked $300 and after some talking came down to $250. nothanks.jpg Dad happened upon a small "car show" down there (Cville) and talked to a guy who knew a guy. Long story somewhat short, we went out last Sunday and looked at a 1948 rolling chassis. The guy bought a complete truck, pulled the body and bed and such, and dropped it on an '89 Dakota chassis I believe he said. He is 76. Wants an old truck but doesn't want beaten to death. Anyway, dad wanted just the front end, so he asked if the guy would sell it sperately. I intervened. "How much for the entire chassis?" After all, it had more parts we'd looked for. Simple things like a horn and such. The dude was like, "$200 and I'll help you load it." Needless to say, dad is getting it, and I'm buying everything but the front end to start a rat rod style project I've always wanted to do...for $100. That's frame, functional drive train, everything except a body. Super stoked. We've been busy but I'll update and add pics when we get his fired up and make more progress.
  16. Summary - don't buy. There's a reason your BFF has let it rot.
  17. I agree with Voltron once again.
  18. Tale as old as time. The lone consistent is 'Bama. The rest are roller coaster rides. Seasons like that are always simultaneously nerve racking and thrilling. Can't wait.
