  1. Gonna try to get there in the Lincoln and drag dad out with the Fam '52. Just found out my cousins daughter started there this year. Had no clue what it was before then.
  2. Just in case the post gets deleted: Also, yes, I have.

    NFL 2021/22

We have the college thread but, man, it's nice to see pro football back and with crowds too. My Cowboys fought hard and COULD have beat the defending champs for the first game of the year but que sera, sera. I had Dak, Lamb, Gronk, Brown, and Evans, all starting for me in the paid fantasy league I run. Aside from Mike Evans they all exceeded their projections and most by FAR. Sunday was fun. I was cheering on the Browns and Bengals b/c Ohio teams. I was driving out of town for work during the KC/CLE game so I was just listening to it and although I have Edwards-Helaire on my fantasy team I was hoping the Browns would get it. They could have. Just like the Cowboys. Now I'm sitting here watching a STELLAR MNF game where I didn't even predict the Raiders keeping it close taking the Ravens to overtime. So glad football is ACTUALLY back! Edit post MNF: Wow!
  4. Depends. Did he do it in response to someone announcing their loved one passed? Context is crucial. I don't know how to make the original question any clearer. You said, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes," about things like seat belts, dog attacks, etc. You then berated anyone and everyone who "plays the stupid game" of not getting the vaccine. You also said not getting vaccinated is the exact same as choosing to not wear a seatbelt. I queried as to how that could be true when you have been on a soapbox shouting about how everyone who chooses not to get vaccinated is a selfish snowflake whatever dolt because they put others at risk when not wearing a seatbelt really only puts the person choosing to do so at risk. It's just a piss poor comparison but you dared anyone to question it putting their morals on the line. You said, "you don't object to what I said, you only disagree about the context." You also said, "Well.the covid vaccine is free, it's backed by science, and it's proven to save lives. Just like seat belts. So to me there's no difference. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Die from covid because you didn't want the free vaccine, you only get my baseline compassion." Well, that's fine and dandy but wayment...you ALSO said you got vaccinated and told others too for the sake of others. SO, how does someone not wearing a seatbelt which really only endangers them correlate to someone not getting vaxxed which, as you proclaim, endangers everyone? Are the "the exact same" or aren't they? Damn, it's a good thing I'm away from home for work and STUPID bored tonight. The chuckles have kept me going.
  5. I literally explained it in the questioning of it. Sorry I offended you by asking a question. Next time I'll just call you names instead and nothing will come of it. Seems you prefer to communicate that way.
  6. No. Read it all again. I don't know how Y'ALL feel when you say it's the same then contradict yourself. I'm prob just a dolt though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Me: "What do you mean in regard to this? Isn't it contradictory?" Greg: "I dunno. What do you think?" Well, that pretty much sums up this entire thread.
  7. If I knew I wouldn't have to ask but now that you've also admitted you don't know I believe I have reached a conclusion.
  8. lol. What a douchey reply to someone trying to pay respects to another members loved one.
  9. Can we all take a break from vax/non-vax and fling shit at each other over this for a bit please? My body, my choice. I like this. I like this a lot. Mainly because greg said: So not wearing seatbelts is no different than not getting vaccinated but if you choose not to wear a seatbelt it's, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes." If you choose not get Mr. Pokey it's, "you're a dolt snowflake." Maybe they aren't all that similar and some folks just want to correlate the two. I dunno. I'm not arguing it. I'm just trying to sift through all the shit and find the golden corn kernel. I would think that "y'all" would take the opposite approach since not wearing a seatbelt puts you and you alone at risk while not getting vaccinated is being said to be wrong because it puts others at risk. So...which is it? Perhaps I'm just not tracking. /thread. Nothing anyone else will say will make me lol harder than this one sentence. :lolguy: ...but I'm still open for others to retake the crown whether intentional or not. :gabe: Ope. This is what I meant regarding the case of Seatbelt v. Vaccination. You WOULD pick a BLUE tie. Also that casino will not be in business much longer. OHIO VS. THE WORLD!!! O-H! How many of those were due to COVID and how many were just listed as COVID when they were already dying of something else and may or may not have contracted it? Genuinely curious. Seeking learning and understanding. BAAAAAAH!
  10. "You"? I haven't said anything either way. Don't lump me in with these snowflakes and dolts.
  11. "Hey, I understand you've snuck in my house in the middle of the night and I was startled awake but if you'll excuse me for just a moment I need to get my loaded gun. It's locked up but it won't take long. Stay right there for me, chief." :lolguy: K, bai!!!
  12. I don't agree or disagree yet. It's been 2 games and he's young/new. Time will tell. He's not the biggest issue though. I agree we were out coached. That was my BIGGEST take away but also agree there were issues on the field as well. I agree that the offense needed to produce more, Aaron, but without establishing a run game opposing teams can play around more defending the pass. This also makes it 10 times harder on whoever the QB is. There is no Zeke, Dobbins, Fields, etc, in the back field and they were dropping guys into coverage the entire game as I recall. They didn't put a LOT of pressure and never really stacked the box. I dunno. Those are just some of my thoughts. There's a reason I'm watching the game and not coaching it.
  13. ITT: folks with one opinion slinging shit at folks with a different opinion. ~PoLOLtics~☆ I agree. Trust the scientist and professionals. I lol'd a lot reading all of your replies. Question on one of them kind of unrelated to the bitch fight going on: keeping loaded guns that aren't locked up...why would you have a loaded gun if it was in a safe or secured some other way? Why not just unload it if you're going to lock it up? Genuinely curious. I thought those vaccinated could still carry it but were at lower risk for severe complications/results. If that is true than ALL folks "serve to increase risk of exposure." Was I lied to? May have been. Genuinely asking. No offense and I don't know your situation but if my wife was at-risk I would not take her out period. That's a choice YOU can make. :lolguy: That's a PISS poor argument. Alright! I'll see y'all again in a day or a week or whenever I feel like replying again. I'll read and lol still but there is nothing productive happening so...have a swell evening!
  14. This thread is living up to it's name already.
  15. Had a few diff friends move to Idaho over the last couple few years. One messaged me basically begging me to visit saying it's underrated as far as outdoor adventures go and that he loves living there now. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Love me a good 4x4. ...but for real, do you have better pics of the painted to match bumper plug?
  17. I read this thread title and clicked on it thinking, "damn....CR really is getting old." I'm not a smart man.
  18. :nws: language if that's a concern, but it's Tosh so you should already expect that. It's from 2019 but somehow I've never seen it.
  19. CLOLmson. LOL.S.U. WiscLOLnson. IndianLOL. WashLOLton. North CaroLOLnia. More upsets at this point than I thought but I've also always thought preseason rankings were trash. Oklahoma and Oregon were close. We'll see how they do the rest of the year. We'll also see how the Buckeyes defense does the rest of the year.
  20. 1) Fans still supporting Joe Pa's legacy, whatever it may be, and the university handling things however they are are two different things. So is it the fans still embracing child molesters b/c they honor Joe Pa or is the university actively supporting/embracing proven child molesters? 2) Didn't the university remove Joe Pa's statue post mortem? Hardly seems like they were embracing anything. Again, are we talking fans or the university itself because your initial comment was in regards to the university as it was typed. I have no knowledge of this nor have I researched the case so I can't really comment and will take your word for it at this time. If the university, not just one or two individual staff members, chose to cover up known cases then I would agree that they are at fault. Links?
  21. Where did I say that? I just said that a LOT of CFB programs have dirty little secrets. FL was just on my mind since I watched a vid talking about talented players in the 2000's and 2010's and where they are today and several involved FL players under Urban's tenure and after. Also, let's not leave tOSU (that was for gill ) got tattoos so they're pretty bad fellas too. Just stated other programs have a lot of crap that has happened, some has been blown out of proportion, and some hasn't received the reporting it should have. What about Peyton Manning while in college? Nobody seems to remember or care about any accusations there either. Also you claimed they "still embrace child molesters". Do they? Did they "embrace" them then? I honestly don't know. I don't follow PedoSU that closely. Of course I heard when shit went down but that's it. Maybe they do. I just haven't continued to research it.
