  1. As someone who lives in and travels rural areas (Hocking Hills, etc.) VZW is the only provider worth anything, and with a family plan it's not bad. I know for a fact T-Mobile and AT&T are worthless here. I always liked the "it's fine in the city and that's where I live" I hear all the time. I feel like I'd rather make sure I had service in BFE. Breaking down in the city is easy. People errwhere. Breaking down on a back road in the middle of the night with no phone service is entirely different. Been there, done that. I'll stick with VZW.
  2. Agreed. Or in a museum for all to enjoy.
  3. Who CAN mimic his style?! And thanks, I'll look into the book.
  4. I'm sure it could be done, but it would obviously cost more. If you're wanting a huge wall done I could get it done like a Fat Head. I can't imagine trying to hang an 8'x10' poster with push pins or something. PM me for custom orders.
  5. I can do 2'x3' prints with the graphics reworked to ensure readability for $20 apiece. Need about 20 orders. Will be printed on stock slightly heavier than normal poster stock.
  6. ...people are "friendly" down here? News to me. You drive that thing everywhere you go?
  7. Beater Elantra 2.0L FTW! LOL That truck is amazing. They did great work.
  8. In for more pics. And that's just it...nothing sounds anything other than stock since I sold the K10. LOL
  9. RIP man. Sorry to hear. Sounds like an incredible guy. If I had anything worth driving I'd sound the pipes and pay my respects. Please know that you and your fam will be in my prayers and I'll think of him on my drives tomorrow. Cool legacy.
  10. We'll do it this way. Anyone who wants one, PM me please. That way I can keep it straight. I'll go ahead and check on prices ASAP, but what size?
  11. Figure out 1 size everyone would want, how many would be wanted, and I'll see what I could do.
  12. Take it to CTD. Overnight NASA parts from the moon. Make it fly higher and faster next time.
  13. If there is a desire for these I could have them printed off at any size on good quality stock.
  14. Also good advice. I carry 4 different ways to start fire. I would add: practice these methods. Everyone thinks it's easy, and most of it is, but under duress and possibly in unfamiliar territory it can be a different story. Also, learning how to boil in other containers is a good idea IMO. Agreed. High temps can cause a car to get super hot (which we all know) and milk jugs (etc.) may not be the best idea.
  15. With the 405QM and my friends G&L it's amazing...especially since I paid $200 for the VX215 new and the folks got me the head for Christmas a few years back. Can't beat that. Impressive collection. A good acoustic is something else I want to add but I think I will go stand up next. I just have the Ibanez and an '86 P-Bass that was bought new and played all over the country by my mom. I love both of my basses though. Wouldn't trade the Fender for anything. The Ib for $200 and $200 in my rig? Can't beat the tone for $400. EDIT: Love the pic on the wall. Most "bassists" I know couldn't even tell ya who that is.
  16. This. If nothing else make sure your cardio/strength can get you home. Being a McBapie with the best supplies and plans is futile. I'm not the most fit, but I'm changing that. Also, I hunt and hike year round with my pack. If I ever get lost in the woods I have a fighting chance. It also helps to get use to lugging it around. Good advice.
  17. Yes! My mentor growing up owns a G&L. Every once in awhile I still get to play it. Smoove like butta. My current setup, used mainly in church these days: http://www.samsontech.com/site_media/cms/images/product/hartke/amplifiers/lh-series-amplifiers/lh500/LH500-display.jpg http://img.etonals.com/p/300/EM_HCV215.jpg
  18. Absolutely agree, and for what I got mine for I KNOW you can't. Taded a non-working 305 (that was a gift) this shop had worked on twice before +$200 cash for it new.
  19. :megusta: Always wanted a MM, but my Ibanez 405QM is just so smooth and I got a stellar deal on it. Someday...someday.
  20. Was referring to myself. Hoping my son will inherit the TMNT toys.
  21. Mmmmm...love my Savage bolt action (.22WMR). This is a great rifle. Haven't owned one, but have shot one. GLWS Kyle.
  22. Unless you weigh 84 pounds (lol) you need moar. Take half your body weight. Drink that many ounces of water. It will help tremendously. Best of luck to ya man. I did it. You can too. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
