    Glowing Fish

Precisely the reason my goal is within 3 years for 100% of our food to come from the farm and hunting in areas I believe are "safe".
  2. The Tahoe is just as bulky as the Expedition. I've driven both. Hard to tell a difference size wise. While I would say I'm not exactly a "Chevy guy", these are good suggestions IMO. Uncle abused a Santa Fe (I mean, like never did ANY scheduled maintenance) for about 180K miles and traded it in. It had a crap ton wrong with it by then of course, but it was rust free and ran. I think it was an 04 or 05. I don't personally like them, but the reliability wasn't the issue. At the same time they had an Envoy. Had nothing but trouble. Yes, it was due to the way they treat their vehicles, but side by side the Hyundai took the abuse better. Again, just my opinion. One of my DD's is a beat up 2000 Elantra (different class, I know) with 148K on the ODO and the PO abused it as well. I can't complain.
  3. ^ Wasn't aware our very own Mahle sponsored NASCAR.
  4. ...or maybe somebody on here has some somewhere. :ninja:
  5. "They finally spelled 'Dodge' right!" - NASCRAP fans
  6. Sometimes. I hunt and hike through the winter though. shrug.gif Vette Mitch is an angry Mitch.
  7. Actually looks OK IMO. Will watch once it hits Red Box and I can get it for a doll hair.
  8. FTFY Looks like at the end she was in fact in a left turn lane. Whether that was her original plan or she did it for vid, who knows? This. Agreed 100%.
  9. This one? 279 pages...this will take up time I don't have reading about something I don't care about. Thanks. EDIT: Crappy pics start on page 12.
  10. Boom. I suggest you take this offer.
  11. Hogs are growing in SE Ohio. Might not have to go to TX. If we ever see any I may need help. Coyotes are our only foreseeable problem as of now.
  12. ...I think you should be getting the idea by now. Mojoe said it best. What is more important to you? If your family is high on the list, MAKE time, not excuses. I work on a farm 2 days a week for 8-? hours, FT at the church, am training again, and have a wife and newborn son. No excuses. Either you want it or you don't. I'm starting at Endeavor (Aaron Jannett's gym). Training to become a Krav instructor and gearing up for my next level test.
  13. +1 for Hocking Hills. I've kayaked there. Dunno the laws and haven't personally but def witnessed cabrewing down here.
  14. Hence the "etc." I should have clarified. As stated, I don't see an issue. If he does his job, and the people he has under him do their jobs, the university brings in revenue. It's a sales position. I see it as incentive. Like a car lot. Sell cars/people under your management sell cars = $$$
  15. Honestly? No. It just takes more time. As a youth pastor I can work from home if need be most days, but as a farmer I don't have a choice. Work has to be done. Unless it's a level 3, if it's my day to work out there I get there. I grew up in Ohio and my dad was a police officer then a mail carrier. I grew up watching him work no matter what the condition. Grew up understand sometimes things suck, be it weather or what have you, and you make the best of what you've got. Life's too short for me to complain on Facebook about crappy weather. For me, if I lived somewhere else, I feel there'd be something else that sucks to replace weathers place. Taxes, people, roads...something. I smile every time I see snow falling, especially when I wake up, open the blinds, and can sit and watch with a nice cup of coffee and a good breakfast before heading out to work. I mean, yeah, it can be a burden, but I can't control it so why stress?
  16. Don't most coaches etc. get bonuses for championships and such?
  17. http://popvssoda.com:2998/countystats/total-county.gif :gabe: Thank you! ...until you actually quit. I haven't looked back. Anymore it just tastes nasty. This. I live in Logan and starting next week will be travelling to Hilliard once a week to train. It's not convenient, it's not time saving, but it's necessary for what I want to do. Many people want the quick fix/easy way out. Either decide to make a change in your life or don't. Don't be the Clay of weight loss/health. Buy or shut up about it.
  18. Not worth it to me. I'll google it later. lol
  19. Zero carbs, 30 calories, and 100% garbage for your body that wont help...except the water.
  20. Use to load my coffee with crap. Now it's black, w/ honey, or w/ agave nectar. Try one of those as a replacement and natural sweetener.
