After she sat for most of the fall/winter and was under a cover I tried to start her a couple few months ago. She dead. Hooked up dads super duper batchry charger and it basically just told us to go screw ourselves and come back with a new battery. Finally got around to getting one today. When I went to remove the old one I found a birds nest. Mom had said that she thinks birds might be using the car but it was under a cover and all so I didn't think much of it. She was right.
Furthermore I didn't know there was anything IN the nest until I removed the old batt, grabbed it, and was about to chuck it out in the yard and just happened to look down and see 4 baby robins and 1 unhatched egg. Took it to a nearby tree and tried to give them their best shot.
Long story short she's alive. Took a bit of a cruise and FINALLY got her into the garage I started renting to store her in. -
Been working on the eng rebuild on and off as we could over the winter. Ran into a few minor snags but they're all ironed out. Onto some body work. We're going to tr to keep the exterior patina/thrashed look but the interior will be revamped and not orig unlike the Fam '52. Gotta get rid of some rust and get a solid foundation.

Didn't know you were the one that bought that Z, Tahm. Nice.

You're fine. That's a solid platform/foundation. Get up in some of the higher lifts and you'll come to appreciate anything that doesn't leave you with what I call "lift legs" at the end of the day.

Can't stand folks who steal anything from anyone. That's a new one. Not stolen gas really but I've never seen a hole drilled in the tank.

In his defense, he is really bad at math.
Fair enough. Must be one of those "common core math" students.

$10? Any CBro knows a $20 is a $20. Apparently the Biker Boyz have half the wheels and half the income. Pony up some big bucks, fellas. This is homo.co now.

Nothing fancy. Just this beautiful, clean, work of art.

I went down during the great freak out of 2020 (10 min from the house) and cruised one lap in my old taco. It was packed. Riding the clutch sucked so we went home. Was great to see.
went to bdubs last night and it was going on so we snuck down pickaway street. Looked like a good turnout, but seemed like they had it all routed to the south end of town, which would really suck if you were trying to get to the service plex. (Walmart, fast food, gas, etc)In 2020 I had a 1982 F100 with a clutch that made you do a crunch basically. Yeah, it was rough. Last night I was in the auto work truck and ran to grab something quick for dinner for the kids since my wife wasn't feeling well. Wasn't nearly as packed. Decent turn out but not like those first few in 2020. Made it up and down Court with no issue.
Better quality pics. -
More pics from tonight. Poor quality but give you an idea of the variety.

First cruise of the season was tonight. My car wasn't ready but there were a wide variety of vehicles out given the weather.
Don't worry, biker boyz. When it's warmer there are more bicyclists if y'all ever want to cruise. It's slow moving through a small town packed with traffic though. -
Mo' money, mo' problems. lol
