  1. VERY cool. Love the vid, love the kids excitement, etc. I too noticed the tri five Chevy amongst them all. Well done, folks.
  2. All of them look good. We're moving next weekend and will have some planter boxes. So ready to grow some of our own things again.
  3. Three generations were at work today finishing up mounting the front fenders and braces and what not. A couple edits or whatever. Borantine. Just used an app on my phone.
  4. A change of pace during these uncertain and non-sportsting times.
  5. Thank you for the synopsis, Matt.
  6. VERY cool. That's good stuff right there. You could make a living making things like that.
  7. Thanks. Hopefully it'll be out at shows and CC&C this fall....'ronavirus pending.
  8. Ignorance and/or arrogance knows no generation, creed, color, religion, nationality, or gender.
  9. It's shown me it's kinda smart to live in Ohio and confirmed I'd never want to live in NY or Cali.
  10. Rhode Island National Guard goes door-to-door, stops cars to find New Yorkers fleeing coronavirus hotspots.
  11. We did swap out the rear end. Use to top out at about 50-55 originally. Now we should see at least 70 with no problems.
  12. A crappy uncut vid taken on my phone.
  13. I second everything said above. Thanks and well done.
  14. He's that guy that had Osterholm on his podcast about the coronAIDS.
  15. Play It Again Sports use to have cheap used ones years ago but it's been awhile since I've been there and I'm not sure they're open currently.
  16. That guy was on The Joe Rogan Experience. It's Joe Rogan's podcast.

  18. We're getting there. Slowly but surely. Time has freed up for dad recently so he's been doing all the tedious little things. I haven't posted a bunch of pics because it's been a lot of wiring, gauges, pedals, etc. I love that the truck is looking new but the implements and fixtures are still the originals. The gauges did get LED's but this truck is still going to be largely all original. We recently found out that front discs are available for the 3/4 tons so we're debating putting the orig front end back in (as of now it's got the 1/2 ton front end off my '49 chassis) and also found out we can replace the parts of the orig rear end (stock gears wouldn't allow for a top speed but of about 50-55) so now we're thinking about putting those back in to keep it even closer to 100% all original. What has really impressed me is that even though dad went to school and was for the longest time a mechanic he has taught himself/learned from others how to weld, do body work, and paint. He's done 95% of this on his own or with just myself, my brother, my uncle, or a friend around to lend a hand but he's used his knowledge and learned new skills. When it's done this truck will truly be built by him and already have the pedigree it does. Goal is be Pumpkin Run in the fall (if coronAIDS goes away by then).
  19. Some minor things getting taken care of.
