:lolguy: x ∞ Aged whiskey/whisky isn't worth "a few thousand dollars", much less fakes that have fooled "professionals" and "connoisseurs". NONE of it. El. Oh. El. It's all dick swinging. Buy a Ferrari you never drive and be done with it.
  2. That's good. Y'all do you and don't worry about any haters or jealous types. As for the $2k cars I drove a 1992 Tercel I gave (IIRC) $1800 for to glen Burnie, MD with a stop way out of the way in Clearfield, PA, and back with no issues. That car would go to CA and back non-stop and be fine. Paid $12k for a VW once. NEVER again. That thing had more issues than any vehicle I've ever owned. It was good for Columbus and back most days. I would've never gone out of state with it. ~$2k doesn't mean any less reliable than ~$11k necessarily. It can be an indicator but it's not the law. You just have to know what you're doing.
  3. How quickly you can get out of Chicago.
  4. It's almost as though folks learned from their mistakes and are now older and wiser. ...what a crock. Ok boomers.
  5. Suddenly I want a new Nerf rifle. Awesome.
  6. :lolguy: You're adulting wrong. Not a bad point but financing a car that's half of your income is ridiculous. ^ never talked to Jordan.
  7. This is everything I wish my truck could be but it never will because I'll never put this much time or effort into it. Well done. I love it.

Yeah. interesting article, but I wouldn't take that for anything of substantial information or evidence of what to buy. Again, there's no bourbon over $100 that tastes any better than most anything between $25-100. I'll hold to that until proven wrong.
  9. I cannot fathom slaving away for half of a year just to be able to afford a means of transportation. Screw that.
  10. Nice build. Thus far I've put together an FNS9c by purchasing it and built a Streamlight TLR1-HL onto another sling shot. Do those count?
  11. 1) Go to Jet Auto Group. 2) Talk to Jordan. 3) ??? 4) Profit. The folks I'm FB friends with already heard this in the past week or so but within 4 days of each other Jordan got my brother and dad both into 2019 trucks that neither thought they'd get. He offered them both far more than any other dealership including Nourse which dad has bought his and moms previous 5 vehicles through. Not only did Jordan offer them more on their trades (Kev, my brother, had already been to 6 lots around Cbus, Cville, and Chillicothe) but he gave them far better deals on the 2019's. Kev got into a 2019 F150 XLT with ~20k miles for less than Nourse offered him a 2017 XLT with ~40k miles. Dad got into a LOADED 2019 Platinum. Nicest truck I've ever been in. Both thought the trucks they got were WAY out of their budget when they looked online but I convinced them to at least go talk to Jordan anyway. Now both are telling everyone about the service and ease of purchase and said they'll never go anywhere else. As far as financing goes both dad and Kev have over 800 credit scores. Both have always financed in advance through a credit union. Specifically a credit union a cousin of mine has been a manager at for over a decade. Jordan beat their rate. As a matter of fact he did so much better than when dad called her while at the lot and told her she emphatically told him that they'd better sign the papers before they leave because not her or anyone else will get them a better rate. I can not stress enough that anyone who purchases a vehicle without at the very least seeing what Jordan can do for them first has only shorted themselves.
  12. That's one aspensive Jeep. Why didn't D. Wigglesworth think of that?
  13. "Heaux's's's's" is what I think you meant.

Ok, Bob. We've met, I "know" you and you I, and I have been tasting and reviewing (as an amateur) bourbon awhile now, but you have me intrigued. Let's set this up. I'm ALL for learning more and open to the idea that I am not, have not, and will not, be an authority on bourbon and would always like to learn more. The day you stop learning is the day you die, right? I have a lot to learn yet.
  15. Isn't the scorpion pricey in comparison as well? Never bought, shopped, or shot one.
  16. Yeah, an AR9 is lol at the prices of most that I've seen. No more fun than a HP 995ts for WAY more money. I like a good 9mm carbine but I wouldn't pay that much (I haven't seen a LOT of them to be fair) for one personally. ...maybe that's another thing I'm just too poor to see the value in.
