  1. This shouldn't even be a game. This should've been another bowl game blowout like most of the others.
  2. Here's the conundrum I currently face: IF tOSU wins they def earned it but will go to face LSU unhealthy. LSU is in the SEC and it seems like the officials want Clemson to go up against LSU. I LOVE Burrow and want to root for him, even more so if Clemson/SEC officials rob us of this, but LSU is in the very SEC we're getting dicked by currently. lol
  3. Caught the ball, no bobbling, took FOUR steps, incomplete. I HATE saying the officials are deciding the outcome of ANY game because if you're team is doing their job it's a non-issue but that's garbage.
  4. Losing Dobbins is a massive blow.
  5. Burrow is just fun to watch. What a QB.

Jack and Crown flavors are OK shooters depending on what you're into. Laphroaig, and I could be remembering wrong, was some of the absolute nastiest swill I'd ever had when on a business trip a couple months ago. I'll have to try and confirm that. I could be remembering wrong but I don't think I am. I also may have had a different variant, but either way, it was so bad I'd never try anything else from them again. Dalwhinnie is a far better scotch, but I also haven't had a ton of scotch's so I don't know of many others.
  7. Nice looking car. Congrats.
  8. I had a dodge run to over 200k. Had to have the transmission rebuilt but it made it. I'd steer away from a high mileage '02. Good call there. That's the best course of action.

Yeah, but I'm not paying $1200 for a steak when I know of a $20 steak that is phenomenal (Ale Steak at Smoky Mountain Brewery) and can easily enjoy a $50-100 steak. I've seen too many "professionals" in every industry that have been lol worthy in blind taste tests. Sure, there is a big difference, and maybe I'm just a simpleton, but I'd be willing to bet that most folks can't tell the difference, at least not every time, between a $100 bottle and $500 bottle. Hell, I'd bet there's some in the $20-50 range that would fool most. I just don't by it. I'm not saying I know better. I'm not saying I know anything really. I'm not saying I have a sophisticated palette because I simply don't. I just don't buy the hype and even if a bottle IS better at a $1k price range to ME PERSONALLY that's an absurd amount to spend on any beverage. Again, please not that as I type this I'm not disagreeing or saying anyone is right or wrong. These are just my personal feelings on the subject. Jefferson's Ocean Voyage 3 was my absolute favorite bourbon I've ever tasted, even over far more expensive ones. I'd be down to try higher end bourbons. I would even be willing to chip in some cash for a tasting. If I hit the lotto I might buy a single $1k bottle once to try it but I just can't see it. Maybe my taste isn't mature enough but I've tried prob over 300 bourbons/whiskeys easy and I've found that taste is 100% subjective and price point, for my money, is a poor indicator of quality.
  10. Happy whatever you celebrate and if ya don't celebrate at all happy day off. For those of you that celebrate Feliz Navibah Humbug I wish you and yours well.
  11. I haven't and hadn't really thought of it tbh. If I recall correctly the only time I read about a tiger striped blade a bead blaster was used and I don't have one of those.
  12. Add a pack of Pall Mall's and a mullet and you've got a COFBA starter kit.
  13. A couple more I knocked out for a CBro repeat customer for Christmas gifts.

It's not illegal to buy from out of state/country and drive/fly it back to Ohio.

You shouldn't be able to have anything shipped into Ohio via an online purchase.

Hmmmm...can't help ya there. We haven't had many from over seas for obvious reasons. Eagle Rare (as well as everything else from the Buffalo Trace Distillery) is in fact hard to come by in Ohio.

I'm not sure on the bringing things back. A contractor we use takes a months vacay every year and travels the world with his wife. A couple months ago they went all over europe or something. He brought back a bottle of Del Winnie that is fantastic but no clue what he had to do to get it here. I have a lot of suggestions on whiskey. I think I've listed them here. We're now on episode 76 and have reviewed a bourbon or whiskey nearly every episode. Sometimes we do a beer or rum and once we did moonshine, but I have a lot of opinions. LOL What price point are you talking? You thinking bourbon? A rye whiskey? Just anything in a certain price point not to exceed x amount of doll hairs?

I kind of agree with that assessment. There are a select few bourbons/whiskeys that break the mold and those being on the cheaper end. We've reviewed a few on the show that when tasted blindly folks have guessed cost WAY more than they do. For the most part though I'd say you're not far off on you assessments and that's in my very unprofessional opinion. No bourbon or whiskey is worth $350 unless you just want to tell others/show off how much you spent on a bottle of something you plan to ingest.

I'm in Dayton and Cincy for work a few times a month. PM me your number and I'll text ya what I find. I've bought a bottle or two on my journeys. I'll keep an eye out and snag whatever I can whenever ya want.
