I have receipts for everything on this car, everything. Also shown are some timeslips from when I took it to the track. It was run on street tires with full interior and no powershifting. Thousands in receipts http://home.columbus.rr.com/cheezoto/pictures/receiptsRE.JPG 13sec timeslips http://home.columbus.rr.com/cheezoto/pictures/timeslipsRE.JPG

smoked housing Non HID projectors, made by TYC the exhaust is JUN headder, randomtech hi flow cat, custom 2.5in tubing with 36in long resonator and a dynomax super turbo muffler. Its super quiet and will pass emissions, but also very high flow. No annoying fartcan sound, its an agressive note but very quiet, I like to fly under the radar.

Thanks for the complements, but sorry not interested in a trade plus cash.

The car runs and drives perfect, very fast and reliable. On street tires I ran a 13.8 at 102. The motor, transmission and ECU were purchased from Honda Motors online. The Timing belt, tensioner, balance shaft belt, water pump, oil pump, accessory belts and various seals and gaskets were replaced with factory Honda parts. The motor has been compression tested and all 4 cylinders were exactly at 235psi. The car also has working A/C which is a rarity on motor swapped cars and will also pass vehicle emissions. I have receipts and records for absolutely everything on this car. No corners were cut during the build of this car. I am an engineer at Honda R&D and I did all the work on this car, no corners were cut during the build of this car. Good news a co-worker gave me his old set today and I mounted and balanced them but they are pretty worn out, really only good for one more season. So I guess ill still need to get a decent set but at least this buys me some time.

still looking
-
never heard back, is this still for sale? PS: I still have cash waiting for you

I love them but I would not call the rotary good in the real world maybe more like "ok". its got plenty of flaws. Terrible on emissions, not so reliable, terrible fuel economy. the main benefits are its small size, its relative light weight and its a pretty simple engine design. More of a benefit for a car as a whole, you can make a better handling car with the lighter weight smaller engine.

it would create more problems than it would eliminate, it would be nearly impossible to get that sphere to seal against the head, not to mention the fact that it would need to be lubricated. So now you are covering your spherical valve with oil which is getting sucked into the engine and burning. No car manufacturer is going to be able to pass emissions with a car burning that much oil. Very cool idea tho, and that is how technology develops. On paper it looks pretty good but in practice it turned out to not be worthwhile

Good choice, 2+2s are really ugly, it looks like they took the car cut it in half and welded in an extra 2 feet of body paneling. another tip But a TT if you want a fast fun car if you dont care about speed buy an NA its cheaper and there is less to go wrong
