Rowhan my guess would be no because i beleave (someone correct me it i am wrong) the 3.1's were only in cars with front wheel drive and your s10 is RWD. So i think it would be to much of a chore to put a 3.1 in a S10 i would look around for a 4.3 out of an S10 on of those can't be to hard to find. ~Erik

A little off the subject but... Thier are some woods by my old house I would always ride dirtbike in and screw around in... I knew them like the back of my hand. One Summer my first time in after the winter I came across a cleared out area. I thought WTF this was never here before. I got off my bike my dirtbike and started to look around. There was a huge fire pit, tons of animal skulls and things made out of animal bones, 2 very very complexed forts made out of brush and wood and a couple weird rattles made out of turtle shells. not to mention all kinds of new paths I got weirded out so i left. A couple days later i told the land owner about it and he went back their and called the police they looked around. Me and some friends decided to go back one night at like 2:30 in the morning and as we crept up their was a huge fire and several people moving around it. By the time we made are way clear up to the site the fire was blazzing but thier was no one to be found. About a week later those same friends and i were bored so we went there with spray paint and painted up a bunch of stuff tore down the forts and had a huge fire. Never saw a sign of anything agian. Who evers stuff that was, was really weird and kinda freaky and they had alot of time into it. But a summer day when i bunch of 15 year olds were bored took care of all of that. Kinda off the subject but when ever i was there i got an erie feeling... ~Erik

I would really have to think about that. Speed wise it is almost a slug probably a mid 15sec car so it would need something to wake it up. But i kinda like it the way it is and it looks like it would be killer to mod it is a cluster of 80's EGR mess. The car has 53k on it and runs perfect too so i really don't know. I am going to buy some BFG radial TA's for it and carpet wouldn't hurt it... I am pretty happy with it so i don't know what i would do to it. Sorry for the rambling. ~Erik

I have seen alot of this stuff in my school also. It is so easy for a kid to destroy something that he has nothing in. I started to build and restore my car when i was 14 when i got around to driving it i cherished it and always took care of it. It is not to say i didn't have my dumb new driver moments but i respected what i had a whole lot more having countless hours and dollars in it. ~Erik

My dad had an AMC dealership and for awhile also sold Renaults... Tonight I asked him about the Fuego's and he said that whenever you sold a Fuego you were sure to make a enemy. He said there was always one coming in with roof problems (they bowed, leaked, and flapped going down the road). Would be a fun car to thrash on though. ~Erik

+1 I hear that. All cars have issues but it just gets old when people talk about how long thier honda will run. My 94 silverado has 115k on it and I have done nothing to it. It runs perfect and I am hard on it. I also know a guy with a 71 Javelin with a 360 that has over 280k on it and has had very little problems. The engine runs but does need rebuilt but in my book anything that runs to 250k is a winner. Just my 2 cents ~Erik
