  1. Also posting this for my father ... One Family Owned since new 1951 Buick DeLuxe 4 door with less than 22,000 original miles on it. The car has a straight 8 and is a three speed manual transmission. It is a solid car that runs and drives fine on newer tires. The car has some areas of surface rust but it stops there. http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/OneRunnin72SST/Buick6.jpg http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/OneRunnin72SST/Buick4.jpg http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/OneRunnin72SST/BuickFrontSeat.jpg http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/OneRunnin72SST/Buick1.jpg http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr94/OneRunnin72SST/BuickTrunk.jpg $4,000
  2. I would agree ... however I doubt he would

Winter is coming. http://images.craigslist.org/0115000103000116102008091068bdcffb70cd95d01b0045f6.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/01150501020301160220080910703a7d38eff0cd686a00ee2d.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/01150701020601160620080910e879c669a1fe5ef39600938b.jpg $6,200 -Erik
  4. I like it, would enjoy adding it to my stable, but question how it will sell. -Erik
  5. I heard they caught Bin Laden ... Evidently he was working at that gas station ... That is probably what was going on. -Erik
  6. I was lucky... I only had one overseas tour and will be finishing my Bachelors in about 4 weeks after 3 1/2 years. -Erik
  7. Answer to the original question... Join the National Guard, be a full-time student, make enough money in two days to pay for a really nice car and insurance, still work full-time, and definitely buy the car. Ask me how I say buy it and let the tax $'s pay for it. -Erik
  8. I am actually looking at the DLA Corporate Intern Program. It is a two program that starts you at a GS 7 and moves you to a GS 11 when complete. I am going to have my B.S. in May and also in May I am starting on my MBA. I would hope that continuing my education, MBA and beyond, would put me in a position to obtain a 13, 14, or 15 position. I have made up my mind (I think) I want to work for myself or the Government. I don't want to work for a corporation for 10-15 years have a family and obligations then get the shaft. I am in the National Guard and familar with negative attitudes of those ready to retire and the slow decision process. Good luck with the Job Anthony. -Erik
  9. Defense Supply Center Columbus? I have been looking at employment opportunities with some of the government agencies located there. I wanted to see if anyone on here worked at DSCC or more specifically for the Defense Logistics Agency. If you do tell me the good, bad, and ugly about working there. Thanks for the input -Erik
  10. During my final semester the full-time student/ full-time employee/ part-time military bit is finally catching up. I am currently finishing up my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and this semester is killing me. I have a bad case of senioritis, I need to complete a 150 page business plan, and I have to go out of state for mandatory training with my Guard Unit the two weeks leading into finals week. Any other college students feeling the crunch? Sorry for the stress rant... -Erik Anyone have any good papers that could be used for a organization development and change class? jk
  11. I am selling it because, I am currently in a position where I could use the money towards another investment. -Erik

  13. The point I was trying to make with the gas is that I drive to consume fuel and shoot the prices back up to $3.00+ where they should be. Just being my typical smartass self. I could give two shits about saving $2.00 on a tank of gas. -Erik
  14. Lets not talk about never gets driven your 83 Z28 has maybe two weeks of road time with you behind the wheel. Thats Sorry... I drive my cars and truck when gas prices get low. If I see gas at $2.50 or lower I will drive the Javelin for a week to get it back in the $3.00 + range. I am just doing my part... My dad worked for AMC then later had an AMC dealership. He always said that everytime he sold a Renault he had made an enemy. Renault was the first to use keyless entry and it didn't work from the factory. When someone would come in to get their keyless entry fixed he would just throw the remote away and send them home. -Erik

  16. Hot Rod had me. I was on the edge of my seat dreaming about my new Javelin Convertible then was brought back down to reality at the end of the article. As for American Made Crap I beg to differ. -Erik
  17. Just wanted to share a little bit of my experience with this event. On Friday My father and I went up to Cleveland to join in on the Hot Rod Power Tour. I was only able to make the Cleveland and Kalamazoo MI stops because I had to be home for work today. From what little I was involved with tour other than the weather the time was great. I am unsure about the final car count but there was atleast 2000 cars. Saturday was the kick off day in Cleveland and the show area was filled with cars and vendors giving everything from Timber Wolf Chew to Napa oil pans away. Sunday the drive from Cleveland to Kalamazoo was very nice even with the rain. It was great to cruise with that many cars and to see the amount of people that filled the streets of small towns when we rolled through (a little cheesy though). In the future I hope to join in on another Power Tour and would recomend for one to join in on a couple stops or go all the way. Has anyone else been on the tour or does anyone know of someone of the forum on it know? Just wanted to take a minute to share my opinion on the event and ask for others feedback on the event. Sorry about the bore... ~Erik
  18. I hate War-Mart and I am sorry you had to experience that. ~Erik
  19. I do need help from time to time but I am proud to say that I have had nearly every piece of my car in my hand at one time or another. ~Erik
  20. Interesting and I generally hate that kind of stuff... ~Erik
  21. I too am in the National Guard. I enjoy quite a bit and will probably be looking for an officer postion (still traditional) when I get done with school. ~Erik
