Thanks man, I am still beside myself on the fact that I found one with the nickel slide in .45cal. it is noted as a 'unicorn" on the HK forums..... I cant sleep. 3 people asked if they could pay me just for the sellers contact info if I didnt end up buying it.... which i gladly declined (and then bought the gun). apparently its worth almost double what I paid for it. Many doubted the validity of the deal because its NIB and the price is low. BUT, its a local Ohio seller. Which made me feel safe.

If you can find them... 100 round value packs of .223 at walmart for 37.00 (CHEAP)

wow, when I was there Friday at 7pm it was 1 box of 9/40/45 and limit of 2 boxes of 30 rd 223 PLUS limit of 20 rd 223 (higher end) for 5 boxes total. AND, they let me go to each counter and buy "sets".... I walked out with 800 rounds....

she says she wants to entertain the idea of shooting.... so I don't want to get something that I will dislike if she decides its not for her (something with a large enough grip for my big hands but small enough caliber so that massive recoil doesn't irritate her). Thinking of something like a Walther P22? I deff. do not want something like an LCP.... too much kick for her initially. Thoughts? Suggestions? My largest concern is to minimize recoil until she gets comfortable shooting guns. Maybe I should just take her to blackwing and rent her a couple guns?
