  1. you all need ot go youtube "welcome to hell" and "jump off a building".... two of the best videos ever. also... .look up old steve olson stuff... he was amazing back in the day.
  2. i think we could at least get 8.... 2 teams. pick a date.
  3. for people wanting r33... why not buy a s14 and toss and RB25 in it? its close... SRSLY Unless of course you want the AWD... in that case... dont buy the skyline (r33) that looks like a 240sx.... Plus.. r33 rear quarter windows look TERRIBLE.
  4. R32 is the best of all styles. On a side note, do you see how much pristine R34 are going fore nowadays? 60-90k depending on "what it is/has".... That's stupid. They used to be 30k
  5. Mine would be Yuki Komiyas 240z.... http://www.zparts.com/showcase/engines/pages/q45v8z-testfit.html
  6. Dream builds? how about build it next summer.......?
  7. I played in 2008, it was nice. My buddy says its gone downhill since as well..... that is TERRIBLE... i hate that... so classless. My friends keep pushing me to join Tartan Fields too... too far. Nice clubhouse though. Course was METICULOUSLY Kept when i played.
  8. You spelled it wrong.... Regardless, It (Kinsale) is a good course. im not doubting that. I played it. I liked it. Its not better than any other course i've played in the city. Tartan Field actually puts it to shame. Country Club of the North (Nicklaus course) in Cinci puts it to shame.... but I wouldn't join that place either. too far. If you read my first post the context clues would have uncovered that I am a fan of tight treeline courses with challenging greens (Donald Ross would be ideal). With that said, most courses that hold US open qualifiers are long-bomb & gouge places. Im considering joining the Lakes because it is close to me. Again, the further you are from your club the less likely you are to go. thats just the way it is. Kinsale's amenities are fantastic... but thats not reason-enough to join. Its a 20 minute trip to Kinsale at LEAST... i'd never go. I've played the Lakes, i like the course. I want to get a member's perspective other than the buddy who is trying to get me to join.
  9. Understand the luxury car man... Great leaders, CEO's, supervisor types generally drive luxury cars. They are the ones that get things done or see that they get done. They are usually successful and value productivity. They like women who pamper themselves and their men and are also successful in a high end market. If luxury car guy competes in sports or contests, he wants to win gold medal BIG. He thinks he deserves only the best things in life. Wine, women, and song is his motto. He wishes people would just get out of his way or bow down before him. When luxury car guy gets mad he will most likely take it out on some lowly inanimate object or some underling standing too close. He has a very acute sense of exactly which button to push to do the most harm. He will need to be alone for a while to get over whatever slight he thinks was done to him. Luxury car guy thinks most people are stupid and inept. They do have some good qualities though. They are: practicality, organization, directness, determination, dependable, good wage earners, goal oriented, and ambitious. Some people think luxury car owners are very stubborn, rigid, distant, critical, and insensitive. Luxury car guy's philosophy is, "Be all that you can be and make sure those around you are too!" If your guy tends to favor luxury cars, showing him any sign of weakness can be the death of you. He will certainly use it against you some day! If his car is damaged in any way, he will trade it in. THEY pegged me....
  10. Kinsale is far away from my house. In a city this size... Ideally, you would find a club you like within 5-10 miles from you. Plus, Kinsale's course wasn't amazing to me. The eucalyptus room however, was ... great amenities.
  11. Can you get me and a friend into TGC? we will pay you.
  12. i'd love to do a scramble outing. maybe 4 teams of 4? if we could find 16 people.
  13. I've played most courses around the city (private and public) with a few exceptions (Muirfield, Double eagle, The Gofl Club, Scioto... the only ones i havent played that I want to) and my favorites are Columbus Country Club (tight and short), Tartan Fields (amazing shape, so well-manicured), and Brookside is simply stunning. Kinsale and Scioto Reserve are fun. but i'd not join. Little turtle is a good course as well. Worthington Hills is a nice course for what it is. Hickory hills is pretty good too. somewhat challenging. For other courses that rock... If you every have the chance to play Canterbury in Cleveland DO IT. that course is simply amazing. Also, Springfield country club is the single most fun course i have ever played (short and tight, lotta tree lines). Down in Cinci there is Oasis and Hyde Park... two great courses. Hyde Park is simply amazing golf. A lot of winding hills. Anyone a member of the Lakes? Contemplating joining this year. PS - whoever can get me on The Golf club or Double Eagle will be handsomely rewarded.
  14. Maybe we should re-name this thread "Fags on CR?" hahahaha THORNE!!!!
  15. Similar to a real rodeo... it might only last 8 seconds.....
  16. Has a blast today doing RCs!! I thnik we are going out again tomorrow to hit some ramps at the Westerville BMX track. Amongst other places. Anyone? Also, early in the morning u am going to buy a 1/5 scale Short course truck. Anyone want to come?

  18. BTW, Ali bullala was ahead of his time
  19. Oh, and... Anything with Jerry hsu, tom penny, or the Shortys crew (old Muska) is great.
  20. Yep, he was a pioneer for going big. Also, mike maldonados part in welcome to hell was sick too. The old zero vid were great. And obviously, any birdhouse video
