I think success has to be well-rounded. Straight shooter, money in the bank, reaching "family goals", etc. But in the end, money is freedom depending on how addicted you are to it (can be bad for some because they throw away what I previously mentioned for the continued hunt for money). And, Scott that story of moving to Ohio for the "chance" is a beautiful thing. I love it! I can remember being two years out of school (6 years ago) being scared shitless to partner up with a guy and try to build something from nothing... I was SCARED. But I knew it was the only way to see if I was strong enough to grind it out (80hrs/wk). Looking back I feel so lucky that I had older millionaire mentors telling me to "risk big, win big" when I was young. Plus, the confidence/knowledge I have gained from my first venture has led me to start a second venture that is flourishing this far. I know that I want to be a career-business-builder. You know, I think it's so easy to see how/why big companies create low risk/low pay opportunities for the masses. Those jobs are safe, and if you want to feel safe you have to sacrifice in terms of financial "dreams". My hope is that everyone takes a chance and rely on their own self for their own financial destiny. And that's where this thread's focus of "opportunity" comes in(somewhere on the scale) and in this instance for wagner it's about "opportunity". Wagner, take this job if there is a better opportunity! Plain and simple. Do it. You have little to lose! And... For people thinking about the other end of the scale (starting a business)..."Build someone else's dream, or build your own dream". PS- if I can do it, you can definitely do it. I am dumb, and I went to art school. I'm nothing special.

My lambo is inevitably-eventual! Might not have "Lambos" though like Scott (I think that's his name)... But I'll definitely be working on it!
-
There is a slim chance that this will be considered. There is a zero-percent change that it will be anything worthwhile. Wags, you gotta realize that this day and age... Opportunity isn't handed out like Halloween candy. You gon hafta work for it (ie - move roles, ie - relo, ie - ask for it, etc)

This happens more than you think! Here's a good ladder for interpretation. If it's a 30-40k base with the chance to make a total if 40-50 it is probably entry-level. If the base is 45-60k with the chance to make 70-90k. It's not entry level.

Do it! Here's why: 1. You have to seize opportunity! And you are at the point in your life where you are able to. You have very few things tying you down and I know how badly you've been seeking a new opportunity in the past couple years. "Take the risks while the risks aren't really risks". 2. Hudson is a great community. I have relatives in Hudson and have been there minimum 100 times. Nice little ritzy community chock full of things to do! Big Question - are you considering this new chapter because (eventually) the money could be there? If so, go for it. You have little to lose. I can tell you first hand, you have to get uncomfortable before you can get comfortable. No one did anything great without diving head first into an opportunity that they were a little nervous to take. Then, it's up to you to grind and make the best of it.

So, in my life. I will buy the occasional box of Tula to see if I can change my own mind (because of issues) and it's always the same thing. Either one (or multiple gets stuck) or its underpowered and a few FTE. It's just stuff that I dislike dealing with. I would always pay 31 cents for brass over 26 cents for steel. So, the the OP... My advice... It's fine to use. Just don't ruin your range trip. Be sure to bring a rod to push out any stuck cases and another gun (or two) and/or some brass ammo in case it gives you too much trouble.

I have a healthy mix of Ammo. My factory ammo go to's: Wolf gold or PMC for semi auto plinking - 31 cents Xm193 for fast full auto ROF - 35 cents Newly adopted: Mk262 for accuracy/distance - 1.09 /rd I really do want to try freedom munitions sometime!

Haha, weed.... Haha. I remember when I was 16... It failed to pass because all the weed smokers figured "we got this, everyone like me will vote yes... So I don't need to worry about it as I am only 1 vote so it won't matter". Seriously!
-
Yes to 2, no to 3. If you smoke weed and are over the age of 16 you are lame. Man up and use death-risk hard drugs you pussy!

See, I think he started CTD for the simple fact that in life...he had the money, the "access", but no namesake for himself of achieving the monetary "level" that he was at. I have seen this a couple times (not to the extreme, or as boneheaded) with some friends that have uber-rich parents. They didn't make their own fortune, so they begin a venture to attempt to do something in parallel as a "business owner" to show that they can create something successful. In fact, it actually worked for one of the 3 people in thinking of. I don't think he wanted to be Dominic Toretto .. I think he wanted to be a big boy and own a business so that he had something to call his own. But it's funny... You hear stories (watch shark tank) and you see people that have sunken hundreds of thousands of their own retirement money (and borrowed money) into an idea that's never going to break it's dragging atmosphere yet they still do it because they are in so deep and probably didn't think strategically enough into the venture before diving in. And then it becomes a pride thing... "I couldn't have chosen a bad business idea"... What they need to do, is fold a bad hand and get some new cards. Yet they don't. I know it's small potatoes compared to the double-lambo guy^^^ but myself and 3 friends thought strategically (one year ago) and launched a business with 1500 bucks (500 per man) in February and we're going to do 57k In Revenue this month (month 9) with a 17% net profit margin after all is said and done. We thought of tens of ideas and ditched every one of them (except one) in favor of one that we knew would work. No ones pride was hurt when we decided it wasn't right. Because, making money is more important than "being right"... Like I always say... "You can't retire on pride-alone".
