  1. I think this also needs to be said... "You can quit anytime" (it's not slavery). Therefore, the age-earning ratio will always prevail. "Well, the age-earning ratio doesn't apply to me because I work in a skilled-trade or vocation"... YES IT DOES! You COULD be doing something else. The age-earning ratio IS the only constant in this equation. Stop being a plumber and start being something else... It's your choice. No one owns you.
  2. Earning potential is a great thing. The execution/discipline is what is difficult for people to commit-to. Again, a career path is something to you modify in its entirety as long as you are breathing. Most people scoff, huff, puff, deny that fact.
  3. The theory has nothing to do with "failing at life". You guys need to take the emotion out of it. It's simply a way of knowing (financially) where you exist compared to your age. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't mean you have failed at anything. It may however, make you second-think the path that you chose in terms of your ability to earn money in an exponential fashion. Plumbers can be great plumbers (and even be happy). It's a job with a ceiling and the earning potential stops... until you own your own business where you manage a field staff of plumbers. If you still don't understand the theory we can talk offline about choosing the right career path to give you a desired financial trajectory. I'm have some very interested thoughts and advice for anyone who wants to listen.
  4. Could you imagine if he fell behind? Haha damn!!
  5. Got my eye on another bolt gun!
  6. The Mossberg MVP Thunder ranch is a very capable gun with a lot of bells/whistles. External magazine fed, Threaded, Fluted, Adj. Trigger, and it comes in OD Green. For 550-600 you cannot beat it. You will have great success at Briar Rabbit. Further than that you should have consistent hits to 800y if you are using good ammo. Well, Put it this way. My Bull barrel AR15 goes nuts deep to 675 with cheap PMC 55g plinking ammo. You should have no issues getting to 800. Maybe further? I also have a couple scopes I can sell you. PM me

  8. Top has very good food. I'm just not into the whole "old raggedy place that you are supposed to think is cool because it's old and ragged". Just my 2c obviously.
  9. I assume it's a location-thing. The owner/creator of Bel Lago is a very successful guy. He's built a much more complex business than that place in his other venture.
  10. The Barn is better than average. Great cigar area out back!

  12. Dude, the system is the system. A persons "where am I?" based on the system may not yield the desired results. You can't say "the system works for people who get raises by climbing a corporate ladder". It works for everyone. Remember, it doesn't say if the candidate is "skilled" (vs not skilled) or "significant"... It tells you where you are in terms of age/income.
  13. People seem to swarm to it. I've been to eat there 3 times. It's better than good, but not great.
  14. I was going to come in here to say "buy an HK"
  15. If you go to Smith and Wollensky (no clue if that is spelled correctly) you have to try the beef bacon!
  16. Yeah, I was thinking the source was speaking more about post-college grad.
  17. here's what I have been told. If you are making an annual income of... 1x your age you are behind 2x your age you are slightly ahead of average 3x your age you are doing well 4x your age you are "well off" ...for where you are (stage) in life regarding age I am unaware of what they say about 5x, 6x, etc but I assume it means you are quasi-rich (but that has a certain "relativity" value to it)
  18. Also, columbus has many different aspects of median income. IIRC New Albany's median income is about 144k. So, there is quite a difference depending on the suburb.
  19. Yeah, realistically, if you ever have wanted to take the plunge on a suppressor for your AR15 now is the time to do it. you will be OTD at 565.00 (including stamp, if you transfer to GunEnvy). Most 556 Suppressors will put you in that 800-900 arena OTD.
