I did this once when I was in Boy Scouts. I loved that trip.

I think she is lying about the "asking me out" thing. LOL

Yeah it does have that AUX button, but there is no jack that we could find anywhere in the car. She did go to Best Buy and they told her her car was to old for them to look up anything on it. I can install the cable no problem, just trying to find exactly what I need before I pull the radio out.

A co-worker of mine is looking for an Ipod Interface Adaptor for her 2006 Ford Escape. It has the basic factory stereo and she is not looking to change that out. I have done some searching, but have not been able to find something specfic to her year and type of stereo. She said the radio does have an "AUX" button, but there is no jack on the stereo that she can see. I have not pulled the back of the stereo to find out if there is a AUX plug in or anything like that. I figured it would worth a shot to check here if anyone has any ideas.

Question about titling/insuring a car if its two different people
BloodRed replied to Bam's topic in Passing Lane
Yep it is just like someone borrowing your car, they are covered as long as you have insurance on it. The insurance goes with the car, not the person, or so they say. But like someone else suggested, call your insurance company, they may want to have her on the policy if she is going to be driving it full time. And as far as the letters from the BMV, all they want to see is insurance coverage for the car matching the VIN number. -
2 wheel drive - front???

How many clicks?

Yeah, pretty much it is your normal range fees ($15-20), ammo (depends on what you need), and the rental fee for the gun ($5-10), and your targets. This really won't be something you can do in one day. And even if you find one you like, try it a few times with different brands and kinds of loads and see what you like.

Go to a gun range, rent a bunch of guns and shoot them. buy the one you like the best and use that gun to get your CCW.

Triple Post!!! Hey it was never a problem, that is why I gave you my number. And I didn't mind the calls in the middle of the night. LOL Lets see, really the rest of the good ones were at the old Mansfield prison. It is crazy how active that place can be at times. I have been shoved againist walls, seen balls of light flying across the room, shadow people looking around corners and walking into cells. On some of our equipment, we have heard singing, people calling us names, calling out our name, etc... Somenights we take an old night stick that the guards used and walk along the cells dragging the night stick on the bars. Sometimes you can look back and see flashes. Those are the pieces of mirrors the prisoners used to see down the cell blocks. One of the good ones that happened as we were unlocking the building for the night. I was in the central guard room which has been remodeled and sealed with glass wall with a couple doors on each side. I was standing in the central guard room as the glass door from the East cell block opened, then I heard foot steps as it crossed the 50+ feet to the other side and the room, the glass door to the West cell block open and the foot steps headed out with the door closing behind it. My jaw was on the floor when that happened.

Not a problem, I have some sound editing software I run stuff through to see if I can clear it up or find anything out of the normal.

Total recording is about 3 hours worth. I know it was originally recorded on analog tapes, but I am pretty sure I recorded it to the computer and have it backed up somewhere on my external hard drive.

smith and wess 9mm with 2 15 round clips and case
BloodRed replied to jmc3271647545506's topic in Other Stuff
Yeah that would be a S&W Sigma. I am not trying to trash your tread, but they sell for about $300 brand new. I sold my old S&W Sigma 9mm for $200 about a year ago on here. Good luck with the sale. -
I grew up in the area and use to go every year. All the guns there were way over priced pices of junk. But still it is cool to go to pick up all the strange things. Great for old army surplus supplies.

I tend to think I am almost up to being able to write a book. LOL. My wife and I have ran a paranormal investigation group for the past 5+ years. Lately we mainly focus our efforts at the old Mansfield reformatory and for the past 2 years, have been volunteers for the over night ghost hunts. In the past, Jason has contacted me and my group about his experiences at his house. We have given him some ideas of ways try to remove or stop what is going on there. As for demonic, yes I have. There is one we call "Mr. Bad" seems to stay at Mansfield. He normally stays in the attic, but he comes out and pretty much all hell breaks loose. We also believe there is a 2nd one that will show up there a couple times a year. Again, very bad things seem to happen when they are out and about. I figured I should at least type out one story. Back when my group of friends started this, we were visiting an old cemetary in eastern Licking County. It was very old family cemetary, and was located on property that no one lived on anymore. There was a very evil being that lived in the old abadoned house. It never seemed to come out until we went past the house heading to the cemetary. Normally we were safe inside the cemetary, but almost every time we were chased back to our cars by this evil thing. One night about 4 25-30 foot trees feel down behind us as we were chased out. No wind or anything that night to cause that to happen. Also all the trees were not even close to one another, so they were being knocked down by another one falling. We have also had crosses ripped off from around our necks. On the worst night, we believe the evil thing posessed our one friend that was with us that night. When we made it back to the car that night, she almost fell asleep getting into the car. From that point on she started talking, but it wasn't her voice. She was also answering questions we asked her. She said she was one of the people buryed in the cemetary and she was trying to kill my wife and her sister. We tried putting a necklace with a cross around her neck and as it hit her skin, she screamed and tore the necklace from my wife's hands. When we went to pick it up, it was broke and retached in 4 different pieces. We went to a church and got some holy water and added it to her bottle of water she was drinking. She took one drink and shot up saying she was going to be sick. We pulled over the car and she thew up for about 30 minutes, every time after she drank the water. We recorded this all on a tape recorder as this was happening. It is a very crazy thing to listen to, even all these years later.

Wow that is tempting...Might have to talk to the wife...

Sigma or M&P? How many rounds have been though it? -
I bought my old Sigam new for $300 a few years back and it comes with the case and 2 15rd mags. First shot is about 12-15lbs and then it goes down to 8lbs. I actually sold my Sigma 9mm to someone on here last year for $200, so....

Oh god, I have now found a new website to waste my day away with.

Yeah if you ever do that to your dog, they have the right to kill you in your sleep.

The suspension on the Grand Cherokee is completely different than the Cherokee. Spacer kits on a Cherokee is not recommended for a lift. If you want a cheap 2" lift, there are many people that do a budget boost using front shocks from a F150 and rear leafs from a S10 or Dakota.
-
wow that is crazy. I thought it was bad a few months ago when I changed the front disc brakes on my friend's Wrangler. I accidently put a screw driver through one side of the rotor. We were replacing them anyways, but that was crazy.

Pretty much the only S&W 9mm with a poly frame will be the Sigma series and the M&P. The big draw back with the Sigma's are they have a very heavy trigger pull. There are ways to fix that, but most people just sell them and end up going with something better. The M&P series are awsome guns. Very similar to the Sigma series but they don't have the killer trigger pull.

Looks pretty good for the year and mileage. Later model 4.0L had a problem with the exhaust manifold leaking. You of course will hear it if it has a hole in it. Check for leaks. Pay attention to leaks around the oil filter (oil filter neck O ring leak), rear main seal (oil down back of engine) and around the oil pan. Take it for a test drive and take it up to highway speeds (55-75 mph). Any vibration is normally a sign of the notorious Death Wable which can can happen with out a lift and can be a pain to figure out the bad part. It says it has 4x4, but check to see which transfercase. To figure out which one it is it is as simple as looking at the 4x4 selector. The NP231 (2wd-4wd Hi-N-4wd Low) is the strongest transfer case but since it is full time locked 4x4, you can not use it on paved roads unless they are very snow covered. The NP242 (2wd-Part time 4wd-4wd Hi-N-4wd L) is a little weeker, but you can put it in Part time 4wd and the front will lock in if you loose traction in the rear. This one you can use on dry roads. As for towing, with a Class III, you can only tow 5,000lbs. Oh and for light train rides, you should be fine, but you will need to lift or trim alot of your fenders if you want anything bigger than a 29" tire. I have owned quite a few Jeeps in the past few years and have learned alot about things to look for. Let me know if you have any other questions. Plus there are tons of good forums and websites.
