  1. I like the drive on 62 from Utica to Berlin (Amish Country). I normally travel it early in the morning so there isn't a lot of traffic. Lots of hills and corners. Also the drive into the Old Man's Cave area off 33.

    the smart car

I would be willing to check them out in a few years when I want to replace my DD. I am only 5'7", so I don't think them being small will bother me to much.
  3. And the price of ammo has been going up ever since then. Most of the same factories we buy our ammo at Wal-mart from also supply the US government. Most of them are runing at 90-100+% right now to keep up with the demand of the private and government orders. When there isn't a war going on, they only run at 10-20%. So they have to hirer on more workers and run more shifts to fill the orders. The government has a set price with those supplies on how much they can be charged. So they have to pass on the increase to someone and the private market is who gets it. I have heard many of calibers that our soldiers use are pretty hard to find at a store anymore. And if you do find them, the price is pretty high.
  4. The war, inflation, cost of metal going up, etc...
  5. I agree and don't forget to add, that it needs to be able to recharge the full battery in less than 10 minutes. I know I don't take that long of trips everyday, but when I am on vacation I do. If everyone switches to these, you will have to have a regular fuel vehicle if you plan on driving out of state. I don't want to set at a recharge station for 3.5 hours while my car recharges and I can continue my vacation/trip.
  6. Yeah this should be interesting. If someone wants to kill or hurt someone, taking away there gun only makes they grab another weapon.
  7. When I first saw the story this morning on the news, I wondered if it was The Jag Bloke's car since I noticed his Jag it for sale on the Corral. It is good to hear that it was no one from here.
  8. Pretty nice. What caliber do you have? My Dad got the M&P 40 and he loves his and my good friend has the 45 and both have been great guns. I have been thinking of getting a 40 or 45 myself, but the Baby Desert Eagles keep pulling me back.
  9. I will have to keep this in mind. I am about to buy a house and I am going to need a little to level up and angle the landscaping around the house.
  10. I will check this weekend with my father-in-law. He works at the feed mill in Utica and the cat that lives there is a baby making machine. They don't mind since it keeps the mouse and rat populations down. I will check to see if "Ralph" has had any kittens lately. You want one, just show up and try to catch them.
  11. Makes you wonder where he went...
  12. LOL that is great. I am sure that took a lot of work.
  13. My wife got 2 free tickets to the Columbus International Auto Show through her work. We can't go this year, so I figured I would put them out for anyone here interested. The auto show runs through March 16. Each ticket is valued at $8. So if you are planning on going, this would save you $16. You pick them up and they are yours. I work in Dublin off 161 and Frantz till 5 pm and I live near Polaris.
  14. I put had a K&N CAI kit on a 97 Dodge Neon and I ended up getting around 2 extra miles per gallon. I was driving about 60 miles one way to work each day, so I think it was worth it. Now I have put the drop in filters in my Dodge Stratus and Hyundia Elantra. Both seems to get maybe an extra mile per gallon with them in. I recharge mine like once a year and they seem to hold up pretty well. So I think with gas prices climbing, it might not be a bad investment to getting just a little better mileage per gallon.
  15. Both look like pretty good deals. If I was getting back into the Mopar muscle cars, I would be taking a look at both of these cars. They can be made into some very quick little cars.
  16. I am just suprised how people could be suprised by this. I mean where did you think those drugs you are all taking were going? Just like everything else, it must at some point leave the body. And at some point everyones fresh water was someone elses waste water. We just ship it on down the river.
  17. You don't need a copy of Nero to make it work. You can also download DVDecrypter and it will burn the DVD's for you. It works with DVD Shrink and it is one of the other options instead of Nero. I use it because my one DVD player does not like DVD's burnt above 6x. The copy of Nero I have only gives me 2x or 8x. DVD Decrypter lets me choise what ever speed I want to burn at.

Where is that Skyline in Newark/Heath? I grew up in Newark but I havent' been there for a while so I don't know where the Skyline is.
  19. Nope. You can only vote on the independate canadates (is there any yet) and any of the local issues or votes.
  20. That isn't bad for a HDD camcorder. I tend to stand by Sony since they seem to always have the best camcorders for the price, but I really haven't looked into their HDD camcorders. Also Sony has the best Nightshot out there, and of course that is important for my night and weekend hobbies.
  21. Sorry we don't offer those services at this time. I will talk to the rest of my group and see if it is something we want to start offering.
  22. Yeah check the link in the signature.
