Don't use electrical tape for your numbers. That will almost certainly make a mess. Use painter's tape.

I had Vista on my laptop. It crashed using pretty much every program that I wanted to use from XP. Compatability mode wasnt worth a shit either. In addition, it used 1 gig of ram at IDLE. IDLE for christ sake! Fuck that noise, I formatted it and put XP on. 413 mb / 2 gb at idle with a bunch of shit running in the background.
