That processor will run OSX just fine, you just wont have support for some things, which if I remember correctly, can be patched to work with sse2 and not 3
I ran OSX just fine on my old HP laptop, and that only had a 2.4 ghz non HT P4.
Make sure they replace your muffler bearings, they tend to go bad in Hondas. Oh and check the manifold, there might be danger too it. Wouldnt want any floor plates popping out on you.
Also check the exhaust temperature pressure, and have them release any tension on the vtec valve.
