  1. My list: Buy a car and prep it for the coming autocross season (Tires, safety harness, maybe some better seats).
  2. Doc, to put it simply, I <3 YOUR CAR. That is all, good day.
  3. give me a minute to PM you, or you can talk to me on AIM, SN MegamanEXEv2
  4. I might buy it. Sorry I didn't really interpret what you posted very well, but you are fixing the car, right?
  5. he is. And Ben, I am only getting $500 from the insurance company for the olds, so it looks like I cant buy your car :\
  6. When I say younger days, I am referring to 12/13/14, back when I was a hardcore LAN goer and computers were my number 1 focus. That has, of course, changed to cars
  7. This is The Audi Equation: Audi Motor + Stock Turbo(s) + Chip = Smoke 90% of Street Competition It is an equation that hasn't failed in 30 years
  8. I have used other programs. 90% of the software I use is Open Source, and the 2 Virtual Dubs are no exception. Because people arent dropping money on them, they are developing their own expansions of the original program and making things better than the $1000 programs that other companies make you buy. Open source is always the way to go when it is an option. I used to be a big software pirate in my younger days, and I try to stay away from that now.
  9. Yeah, I saw this on craig's list today when I was browsing at school. I was like "Damn, sign me up. I can live with driving a 4 wheeled billboard around."
  10. you obviously haven't used either program, because they are amazing. you can encode and transcode into any format you can think of.
  11. Windows Media Player wont do anything for you if you don't have a codec to decode the video.
  12. IDK if you have seen the Ford LTD or whatever it is in Men In Black I, but it had one of the slickest glossy black paint jobs I had ever seen.
  13. Virtual Dub and Virtual Dub Mod are the best, and they are free.
  14. Have you ever wanted a life size matchbox car? They have the same build quality...
  15. Even that track design might be too elaborate. We need to think of ways to build a completely economical track, while maintaining some level of quality. Sponsors like economical ideas that are good ideas. It tends to make them want to jump on the bandwagon faster
  16. Who decided that it was a good idea to use recycled gas, then fresh gas (as if it makes a difference)
  17. So why not we try to make this happen as the community of CR?
  18. anyone got some spare land? i would not mind paying to be a CR member, I love this place to death and it would be more than worth it!
  19. If such a place were to really exist, it would truly be the promised land!
  20. There is no reason why, if you wanted to do a drag strip for reasonable price, that you should have to put down the expensive track material. Just standard road paving would be fine. There is a popular little track in the south somewhere that is like that, its just grassroots drag racing.
  21. One of my dad's rally cars was a Datsun 510. I would love to buy one and drop something powerful into it.
  22. This is one of those things taht is pretty hight on the "why would you want to do that" list. Still pretty cool though. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9cd6869c-6501-4b46-b004-9884012931f3.htm
