    Sub 12k cars....?

Hmm, a suby. I'll check those out, my dad's trying to pressure me into buying some NEW, so he wants me to check out the Mazda 3/6? I guess they have some nice rebates on them now, any feedback on it? I am driving quite a few cars today, thanks guys. I'll let you know what I buy.
  2. I have 2 speeding tickets, that's it. No accidents and this one won't come up since there is no point in reporting it. I think it's the age...I'll be turning 19 at the end of this month. Suxors to be young. Anyways, just found out some cool shit, check my other post on what cars I'm looking at.

    Sub 12k cars....?

Thanks for trying on that GTI, but as stated above, I could not handle the 2.slow nor the 2 door. I have a baby girl on the way and I will be keeping this car that I buy for a good while, so I might as well buy a 4 door. The Spec V definitely seems like the cheapest car I've checked out, which isn't bad, I'm just wondering how it will hold up at 75k miles. I usually only keep cars 2-3 years, but drive 20-30k miles per year, so I need a reliable car. Well I'm going to go drive a 00 Lincoln LS 5spd, a passat 1.8t 5spd, and the Spec V tomorrow and I guess we'll go from there. Thanks guys

    Sub 12k cars....?

The Nissan Spec V doesn't have a cheap or chinzy sound/feeling does it? I mean not that that is bad, but since this will be my first car loan, I want to have a nice quality car that will last me a good couple years. Thanks for the tips guys, anything helps.
  5. Ok, I am going to buy a car this coming Monday, the 21st. I want to spend NO MORE than $12,000 and I NEED it to be relatively new, and FOUR DOORS. I don't want a large car, but one with a decent backseat. These are what I've been looking at... 01/02 VW Passat/Jetta/Golf - Both TDI and 1.8t's. 00+ Maxima's Volvo S40's With that same idea, what do you guys recommend? Quick question, I'd never heard of a Nissan Sentra Spec-V before earlier today, but it sounds like a good deal. 2002, 30k miles, white, 6spd, asking $8500 OBO. Pros/cons of this ride? Quick? Thanks, Look forward to suggestions... Matt
  6. Well thanks everyone for lecturing me on having full coverage, I can't say I will get it in the future, but yeah. Well so now I'm off to buy a new car, I've got a pimp 2004 Suburban to drive this week, but I WILL have bought a car by next Monday, no doubts about it.
  7. Yeah, that's what screwed me over. The truck driver that lost the load did not even stop. And by the time I collected my thoughts and enough nerve to get out of the car (remember I was pointing the wrong way on 270 in traffic after I finally stopped) He was long gone. Cops showed up 20 min later and then a wrecker.
  8. Thanks Meagan, I'll call you. Buck, the reason I don't have full coverage is because it costs $3400/year for me. I only bought the car for a bit more so it didn't seem worth it to me, and I've had it for 2 years. Technically this is not my fault, but since the guy drove off, I'm screwed.
  9. Damn, I'm so screwed...Here's the story... Coming home from work last night around 11ish I got on 270 E. from Sawmill. I was passing over 71 when I see a load from a truck fall on the ground in my lane not even 100 ft ahead. I'm tired, its pouring down rain, and I got nowhere to go. So at the last minute I swerve right on the median and back left cuz I don't want to hit the wall, well being that it was wet out my rear end slides out and I go into a spin. 540 degrees later I smack the center divider at around 55 or 60mph backwards. Oncoming traffic swerves to avoid me and everyone comes out fine except me and one other car, the car didn't avoid the truck load, but hit it dead on. So I'm fine now, went to the hospital, got lots of drugs, and just heard back from the bodyshop, its $4100 in damages. I only bought the car for $4800, and I didn't have full coverage. Sucks to be me huh? Almost no money saved up and no ride...who's on the short bus now? graemlins/doh.gif
  10. lol, I'm not sure what I'm doing, haven't gotten anything yet about it, but I didn't work for roughly 4 months last year, so what does that factor in for?
  11. haah, you gotta give him an A for effort tho
  12. damn, I'd love this, any idea what this runs? I've never paid attention to stangs, but love this bodystyle. Also, what kind of wheels are on it now that its 5 lug?
  13. Madhatter muffler, I did exactly what you are doing, had them weld 2 pipes in. Cost me $30 like 3 or 4 months ago. 279-1111. Great guys, and lifetime warranty on work.

  22. so when you gonna dump it on some clean 22's? haha, nice truck man!
  23. sweet bike. When my dad managed a condo he rented to these bikers who literally did BURN-OUTS in every room of the house and up/down the stairs. My dad didn't check in regularly, and needless to say, by the time he did, the place was a wreck. This was back in the 80's tho. OT: Got any more pictures of your woman? I take it that's her in the sig/pic? ::gets ready to duck from flying objects if not::
