  1. I had a set of Jet-hot 1 3/4" that I sold when I got the Kooks 1 7/8 X 2" The Kooks are far superior IMHO but quite a bit more expensive. The jet hot Y pipe really sucked, it fit poorly and the hole where the two lines merged was not full sized. I had to make an extension for my die grinder and open the hole. If you have a stock K-member you will more than likely have to notch the K-member
  2. His mustang has some mods so racing a stock LS1 like Linn's will just be a stepping stone. Welcome!
  3. Okay I went and looked through a couple piles and got bored. Best I saw was a 12.53 so I fail. Stock internals should also include springs--- a completely untouched engine. for the record RUQUIKER on LS1tech just ran a 10.60 with stock internals. he used to live in detroit. Some of you have met him he was at one of the early COFBA drag days.

  5. I remember letting my wife drive the car N/A with the stock internals quite a bit. I can look up the slips tonight to get the exact #s but She clicked off a 12.40 one day and asked what my best N/A was and I couldnt remember so I pulled off a 12.25 for her. It would have been in 04. 3.7 gear 28" tires, tci SSF3500 converter. Best stock internally on the spray was 10.78 Thats never having the valve covers off. Nobody in columbus has equaled that with there heads cam cars

  9. injectors that size are easy to get used. 28# are stock in the LS1's check LS1tech and ebay. I sold a set over the winter for 50$

  13. last year I used 1/3 E85 along with 93 pump gas. I will do the same this year but use the torco accelerator with it. I bought a 5 gallon pale

  15. You pull timing to guard against detonation. To much timing is only one thing in the equation of detonation. To hot a plug, fuel with to low an octane or to much timing or a combination of the above. Dont want to pull timing use race gas, want to run pump gas pull lots of timing. It really makes sense to take a balanced aproach. Pull timing run a cooler plug and an increased octane. Anyone that didnt pull timing on a 175 shot (and got away with it) has the wrong N/A tune
  16. I think you will stay up on boost better with the auto plus only shifting twice instead of three times with the stick. Should be a huge benefit in ET.
  17. You two made statements that I responded to, running DEEP into the nines and trapping more in the 1/8 than anyone else would in the quarter. Those are the comments that I very specifically responded to, and I stand by it. The rest of your postings I see as completely resonable or even conservitive. On another note, I missed the part about the transmission conversions? What transmission and converters did you go with?

  19. Im going to rent a bobcat for a week. I want to spread new gravel on 350' drive and finish the new parking area I started last year by the shop. I also want to clean out some large piles of rotten wood that where made when they cleared the lot. I am clearing the wild rose bushes one section at a time, I hate those things. I also want to do some cleanup to the 4 wheeler trail in the woods. Other than that I will probably by some more pine tree saplings.
