    Tax exempt

IIRC there will still be a small amount of taxes witheld @married and 9. I dont believe they allow a true tax exempt W-4 status anymore. You used to be able to enter "tax exempt" on your W-4.
  8. It might be hard to get someone to do it for you. In retrospect it was a really stupid thing to do. If I had burned through that sheetmetal and dropped a dingle berry on that tank it would have blown me to hell. I would drop the tank if I was doing it again.
  9. There are tax implications on any gift over 10,000. (this is an old number it may be higher now) Example, Mother can give you 10,000 and father another 10,000 per year. Anything above 10,000 from one person causes tax liabilities. Here are some great cookie recepies http://www.northpole.com/Kitchen/Cookbook/cat0001.html
  10. I have the wolfe 5 point with the swing out bar. I have the bolt in. It's a very nice fitting piece thats powder coated. I also have the bars that fit flat not on the wheel wells. I welded mine down in the back, bolted it down in the other 3 points. Remember that if you weld it down you are welding above a plastic gas tank. Not for the faint at heart!

    Tax exempt

I used to file tax exempt all the time 25 - 30 years ago. The Gov cracked down on it in the mid-early 80's as I recall. I'm not sure of the current regulations but After you claim around 8-10 the employer is required to contact the IRS. Years ago there were alot of people attempting to not pay any taxes, this was one of the way's they combated it. I suggest contacting you're accountant.
  12. Yes he was. If he had done some searching on the forum he would have found out right away that cars in the 400-500 range are dime a dozen on this site. Instead he starts off making cracks about wanting to make sure there's someone worth his time. If you are still reading this, come to a meet this summer and bring you're wallet, the lessons wont be free junior.

  18. I grew up on the west side of cleveland. In 76 fresh out of high school I up and moved to WYO. Over the next 25 years I worked all over the rockies. I have no use for anything on the west coast south of sacramento. Southern utah or southern Colo might fit the bill for you. Not as cold as the area's I prefer. I guess my advice is "dont think twice" go for it. I never thought I would come back to Ohio And tuthfully I dont know how long I will stay
