  1. You can lock her up. Car is no longer for sale.
  2. Someone stopped by last night and purchased the wheels. Those are now sold.
  3. Same car as posted here: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129897 Drove it down from Cleveland area without an issue. Put front brakes on it, put stock SI wheels with new front tires, changed oil, plugs, wires, cap...little crap like that. Was getting it ready for my 60+ mile a day drive but my daughter blew the engine in her Corolla so could use the money to replace my "toy" fund. that I had to dip into to fix her car. Comes with a new B&M shifter in the box that I have not had time to install yet. Figured I would toss it up here before I posted it anywhere else. $1800 without the SSR wheels or $2200 with. PM me if you are interested.
  4. Picked up a set yesterday. You can lock her up. Thanks!
  5. Looking for stock rims for a 91 CRX. Would love to find something with nice tires, but will settle for without also. Prefer 13" or 14". PM me if you have anything cheap. Thanks Tom
  6. I am heading out of town tonight for a show, but will shoot you a PM when I get back to see about getting that driveshaft.
  7. Still have the Aluminum driveshaft?
  8. Its a Bloomington Gold Corvette Show that is adding Camaros this year. I would certainly think that of any show, this one would not have cars like you described. Generally speaking, this show has absolutely flawless cars which is why I dont want to take anything that is not perfect. Truth be told, its the laps around the track that I want to do again that is really making me figure out how to get a Camaro there,
  9. Of the four in my signature, one is a project, one is in the body shop, one runs great but isnt as nice as I would want to take to a show and the last one is that nice, but not sure I would trust it driving 6 hours in one day. I had planned on taking the one that is currently in the body shop, but I am starting to think it wont get done in time. As for a Mustang, that will never happen. No need for variety when I have what I really like. Thanks for the suggestions. I had never heard of Turo before. Seems interesting. I may look into that, but the thought of borrowing someones personal car just seems weird to me. I cant imagine renting out my car but I guess to each his own.
  10. I was thinking of driving a Camaro up to Indy next month but a quick search to find someone who rented them scored me nothing. Anyone know a place that rents Camaros? I would be taking it to a Camaro show so would have to be guaranteed a Camaro and not anything else.
  11. Not sure if any of you are interested or not, but Bloomington Gold is putting on a show June 20-22 at the Indy Motor Speedway and for the first time, they have included Camaros in addition to Corvettes. What is really cool about this show is that they are offering "GoldLaps" which buys you two laps around the track. I did this years ago for another Camaro Show and it was really cool to be able to drive around the track. I am going to jump at the opportunity to do this again and figured I would pass it on in the event other Camaro or Corvette folks are interested. I am not showing my car and basically just going for the day on Saturday to see the show and take a couple of laps. Cost is $40 and they are doing them Thursday-Saturday. I know you are only permitted to do 60MPH, but I think it is cool none the less to drive around the track. Here is the link to purchase a time slot if anyone is interested. In looking at it, it also looks like there is an autocross event for those interested in that. https://bloomington-gold-corvettes-usa.myshopify.com/collections/driving-events
  12. Sounds great. They are definitely looking at new. I will reach out if they decide on a Subaru instead of a Toyota or Honda. Thank you, I really appreciate it!
  13. My inlaws want to go look at a Subaru Outback. Anyone have a good hookup for a sales person at Byers over at the airport? They are looking at Honda, Toyota and Subaru and not sure which they want. Hoping someone knows someone and we dont have to deal with the typical sales guys when we get there. They are just looking to get informed and drive one and see if they like it. I have a hookup at Toyota, just no one for Subaru. Thanks Tom
  14. Thanks for the info. I reached out so we will see what the cost and turn around time is.
  15. My one Camaro needs the original computer controlled Quadrajet carburetor rebuilt (hard start cold and hot and bogging on acceleration). I have been thinking I will have time to tackle this for a while but never seem to have the time. I looked online and there is a place that came recommended (http://www.customcarbs.com/) and seems to do a great job, but has a nearly 3 week turn around at this point. I really would hate to not get this car back on the road until nearly August at this point. Anyone local do it for a reasonable price? I was quoted $200 for the above source and figured I would see if any local could do it cheaper and quicker. Again, its the factory computer controlled Q-jet on an 87 Camaro. The car is going to get a engine swap in the future and I most likely will just scrap the computer but want to keep it stock for now, otherwise I would just toss a Holley on it and be done. Thanks in advance.. Tom
  16. Had one of those a couple of years ago. Pretty good smoker when modded. I believe the model is the Highland. Good luck with the sale.
  17. Best of luck to you!! I am so envious...There is nothing I would love to do more than make BBQ all day long...if you ever need a hand, let me know!!
  18. Exactly!! Plus, there is nothing more relaxing then being on the open water.
  19. We cruise multiple times a year. If possible, get one that goes to Cozumel and go to Mr.Sanchos. That will be your all inclusive. Awesome food and all you can eat. I have heard bad stories about Cuba and definitely get a balcony!! Just so you know, Nassau is awful. Easily the worst port Carnival goes to. Grand Turk is nice though. If you have more questions, let me know. Like I said, we cruised 4 times just last year.
  20. I would also throw it on thirdgen.org if you have not sold it yet.
  21. GLWS...getting pretty rare to see one of these cars around. My 87 also has the Carmine Red interior, was actually a pretty popular color..especially with the Bright Red exteriors. It is amazing how much these cars are going up in value. Definitely going to cost you much more to replace it later down the road.
  22. Nice to see another 3rd Gen around! Nice grab. What are the plans for it?
  23. Problem is that it is 5mph faster
  24. My Father in Law just installed rims and tires from a 2016 Silverado (18") on his 2003 Silverado and now his speedometer is now about 5 mph off. Is anyone able to flash his computer to adjust for the wheels size difference? I called the Chevy dealers and they want $120 to do this which seems absolutely ridiculous for what I would assume is 10 minutes worth of work. Anyone help out for a more reasonable price? Thanks Tom
  25. My son recently purchased a 2004 GTO which was heavily modified. I think the guy had trouble getting what he wanted out of it so he took it all back to stock. Problem is, the car is running pretty crappy. He has had it in multiple times and the advice is to get someone who can tune the car. So, who here can help him out? He lives in Plain City, but anywhere around Columbus is fine. He spent a lot of money on this car and it has been having issues so I would really like to see if someone can work some magic on it. I feel for him as he didn't have me look it over and has already replaced a ton of parts including the transmission, so I would really like to get someone who know what they are doing with it. Thanks in advance Tom
