  1. HRE 546 sized 20x9.5 ET30, finish is polished. They're in good mechanical condition with cosmetic flaws. Tires are 275/55/20 GT Radial Champiro 528 with over half tread depth and uniform wear pattern.

I'll get some photos of them later. The wheels are located in Westerville/New Albany area.

Sounds good. Also let me know what you are asking for them and I can pass on the info.

  2. Are you sure the bolt patterns are the same? They changed them just a little in the HD's so that 15 and newer you couldnt use older wheels. Also be careful with "take-offs" If they are the plain steal wheel "take-offs" they are not DOT rated and only recommended for use while transporting the vehicles.

The wheels he is looking at are off a 2016 Z71 and not one of the HD's. He bought the truck and immediately added a lift kit to it and replaced the wheels and tires.

Here is a link to a someone online selling the same rims

  3. Not quite different in specs. The wheels throughout the GMT800 to the K2xx generations have about the same specs; even between 2wd and 4wd. In order to confirm, check out the numbers stamped/embossed on the back of the wheels.

I have a set of 20" HRE wheels with tires that I'm going to sell for cheap, maybe he would be interested.

I am not sure he wants 20" but can you post pics and give me more details?

    Thanks

  4. My father in law has a 2003 Silverado, two wheel drive. His stock steel wheels are starting to rust and he asked me to see if I could find some different ones. I was able to locate some new take offs from a 2016 Silverado (both 6 lug). I know the bolt pattern seems to be the same (from online searching 6x5.5) but would the back spacing be different between a 4 wheel drive and his two wheel drive truck? I am just looking for some verification that they will fit before we pick them up. They are a bit of a drive and I don't want to make the drive for nothing.

    Thanks in advance

  5. My father in law is looking to replace his rusty steel wheels on his 2003 Silverado 2 wheel drive. Need 6 lug wheels. He is looking to spend as little as possible but he needs rims and tires (old ones are starting to dry rot). Anyone got any laying around they want to let go for cheap? Stock in really good shape might work too. Would consider just rims if the price is good.

PM me if you can help.

    Thanks,

  6. What a terrible post office we have where I live. I signed up on Saturday for this service and today was the first I got an email. None of the mail they had scans of delivered. I got a junk Kohl's ad and some other junk mail that was not even shown to be arriving today. I then went back to sign in and it now shows that I got no mail today. Seems like just another thing the post office can screw up..
  7. Returned your PM bdoz.

The car sounds great and does not smoke. The motor was supposed to be redone about 10K miles ago, but I have my suspicion that is not true. The car was built a number of years ago with ZZ4 cam and heads, headers, SLP runners and ported plenum and intake. Transmission had work done and I was told it got 3.70 gears. Being a B4C 1LE car, it is pretty rare, so want to keep it stock looking or I would throw a Stealth Ram in it and call it a day.

Anyone have good recommendations on a shop?

    Thanks

  8. Hello all..

I sat on this car all winter thinking I was going to have time to get to it and now we are here with spring around the corner and I have not had a chance to touch it. What I have is a 92 Camaro with a modified 350 TPI engine. The car sounds fantastic but is way down on power. I assume its nothing major as it sounds great and starts right up. I reached out to several shops about tuning and everyone says its too old and they cant help. I bought the stuff to do it myself, but have not had any time and probably wont anytime soon. Anyone able to recommend a shop that can give the car a good once over and make sure all is good and figure out what is up with the low power? Really looking for some referrals.

    Thanks

  9. I have started looking for a good solid 3rd Gen Camaro Iroc or Z28 to drive. Been checking online and not really seeing anything (or getting responses from sellers). Dont care on the color, or year (as long as its between 82-92) but would prefer a TPI car. Not looking for a project as I am already finishing up one of those. Looking for something that can be driven as is. Max I am looking to spend right now is $3500. I am patient and in no rush so dont mind waiting for the right car. PM me if you have one or a lead on something that fits what I am looking for.

    Thanks

  10. I checked with Brian and the car is too old to be able to hook into. I am looking for someone local that can hook up to it and see what is going on. The car is way down on power and I am not sure if I have a leaking injector (or something like that) or if I just need a better program of the computer.

bdoz, if you want to help shed some light on this and help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. I would assume this should be a low 13 second car but it is not anywhere near it in the shape it is.

  11. I did a Camry 2 year/24k sign and drive with a $375 turn in fee. I'd consider doing it again. Might get a v6 or Avalon this go around.

I just traded my 4 cylinder SE Camry for a V6 SE Camry and oh my gosh what a difference! The car is actually pretty fun to drive. The salesman tried to talk me into an Avalon as it was actually cheaper to get one of those as they some standard with the V6 and are much more plentiful. When I was looking for a new V6 Camry, of the 100 or so Camry's they had, only one was a V6. I just didnt need a car as big as the Avalon and really liked the look for the SE Camrys so just went with that.

  12. I recently purchased a 92 Camaro with a 350TPI engine. It is pretty heavily modded with aluminum heads, headers, Edelbrock base, runners and plenum, ZZ4 cam, etc. I dont think the car is running anywhere near what it should. Anyone know of someone good, or does anyone have experience with tuning and burning chips for these cars?

    Thanks

    Tom

  13. Take it when it's running.

Yep, that seems to be what I am going to have to do. I just thought maybe someone who works at a new car dealership might want to make a few bucks on the side for doing a house call on this but it seems that is not the case.

    Thanks for the advice..

  14. I just purchased a Camaro from out of state and in order to get the title flipped into Ohio, I need an out of state inspection. I know all they do is look at the odometer and VIN plate but the car is not running to drive it somewhere to get this done.

Can anyone help out with this?

    Thanks

    Tom

  15. The car has its RPO sticker still. The car is a 92 with the B4C (Police Package) and 1LE (Performance Package). I was told it was never a service car and purchased new from a gentleman who worked at the GM plant (its originally a Michigan car). I was just looking for a way to document the history. $39 is insanely expensive for one CarFax and wondered if there were some other sources that might be more reasonable. If I knew 100% that it would give me what I was looking for, I might do it, but $40 is expensive to just roll the dice.
  16. Just purchased a 3rd Gen Camaro and am trying to document some of the history and options. Anyone able to help? I tried the Ohio online title search but nothing pulls up (car was in Michigan and Illinois previously). PM me if you can help and I can supply VIN.

    Thanks

  17. Just figured I would throw it out there and see if anyone has any colored Weber Kettle grills that they are not using and would like to get rid of. I have been collecting these for a while and always looking to add to my collection. No black colored grills please, just looking for colored. I also have some black ones if you have a colored one and would like to trade it and maybe make a little money depending on the condition.

PM me if you have anything..

    Thanks

    Tom
