went to Mad Hatter, they did a great job, they ended up cutting out part of the pipe and replacing it and welding a new hanger... 45 dollars in and out in 20 minutes.... location was kind of scarey though
like the title says, who is able to do this? I went to Midas and surprise surprise after them telling me that they would do it for 20 dollars, they came up with a BS excuse to sell me an entire system... I just want the bracket welded back into place (about an inch behind where it was before)
help please :-)
I spoke with Tim, we were going to meet up on thursday, but after work tonight, I pulled the plug out again and inspected it... sure enough, one of the hazard pins was bent, I bent it back, plugged it in, and all is well :-)
Thanks all for the help!
I was just thinking that... I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. I don't hear it snap into place if that make sense, so I will pull it out and look for bent pins. I did order one online and pay the ridiculous fees for expidition... I don't like the idea of driving a car without turn signals as well as don't want a ticket for failure to signal.
I don't think it's a relay issue because the hazards work
Google Searching is telling me it's the Hazard switch... anyone with a 5th Gen Maxima want to meet up so I can test my theory before ordering a replacement hazard switch?
one thing I forgot to mention is I installed a radio (with backup camera) in the car last night. I don't see how that would have anything to do wth the turn signals except that I unplugged the hazard switch.
this is in a 2003 Nissan Maxima. I checked the fuses under the dash and it appears to be good... any idea what could cause this? When I try to use it for the first time, I hear a click, then nothing... then the rest of the time I'm driving, I hear nothing else....
I bought the 3M product today and gave it a shot... I got rid of all the yellow that was on the headlights, but it still has a bit of a haze look to it. I don't know if I should do it again or if it's as good as it's gonna get.
my headlights have the typical older car yellow'ish foggy issue... I know there's a ton of products on the market, what do you recommend and have had good luck with? New headlights are almost 200 so I'd really rather avoid that if I can help it...
What works? what doesn't? Do I just need to bite the bullet and replace them?
I have a 30x40 barn with a high ceiling and I can tell you from experience, you need a large heater or it's just flat out a waste of effort... I have a 175k BTU heater and 55k BTU heater running to keep the barn warm when I'm out there. I will say that I love my Propaine Heater, but if you go that route, but several tanks... I have 3 that I swap between... the tanks will freeze up after about 45 minutes use.
